And you and anyone else, you don't need to post the details on FB, aka (Facebook) thank you.

No, I'll post it here instead. I think we counted 18 photos of kids on their first day back.

Like Katie said, nothing day. Was teachers first day at school, so went through his rules and set up their pencil cases and drawer. As only 6 from first year class remained, she had lots of names to learn. Story from everyone about their holiday.

We put her at the front of the class given her eyesight, with best friend beside her. I'm sure they'll get moved and like last year, the ones needing assistance will be brought forward and the self starters moved to the back. Also her first me teacher, so will be interesting to see how she reacts.

I read an article the other day that suggests Facebook is already in decline and could be dead by 2020. Others say it could be dead earlier by 2017.

I certainly hope so and will put in some extra prayers for Facebook's early demise....

Ah yes, the Princeton Report - which FB turned on its head in reply and noted the decline at Princeton.

Funny stuff

Ours is standing in a quiet corner of our bedroom - with clothes and pocket paraphernalia. Saves fossicking though the wardrobe when preparing for a new day ...

I'd agree that it should. But somehow it just gets piled higher every day so it's become a clothes hoist in its own right.

I have a friend who thinks capt jayneway is hot.

I think I rate the doctor from star gate over Jayneway.

Is that some sort of secret code?
It looks like a "Regular Expression" to substitute words. (Although there may be a missing closing slash at the end.

Those familiar with javascript would know.

Almost got taken out by a deer on the way to work this morning.

Given that I live 7-8km from the CBD, my interstate friends think it strange that I warn them to look out for kangaroos, koalas, echidnas and deer on our road

There are also foxes and possums but that is not so unusual in a city. And the last possum that ran in front of my car did hundreads of dollars worth of damage. Surprising for such a small beast.

Yup, that's RAdelaide. I live just a bit closer to the CBD than you. Have seen kangaroos bounding down Portrush Road at least twice in the last few years. And then there is the Koala that fell on the bonnet of my son's beloved car parked in our driveway. Son was most offended. Koala was fine. Car - hmm, bit of a Koala bottom impression.

Dont talk to me about possums. I hate them. we have one in our roof. On these really hot days I can hear him moving around trying to escape the heat. Bang away on the galvanised iron roof at night. hate em.

Proof that drop bears exist !

If you crossed a Poodle and a Sh**su, would you end up with a Poo**it?

Auto correct does not allow the name of a particular breed of dog, removes the it

Those familiar with the *nix sed command would also know what was going on. :)

It isn't a "Trouser Press" - although the link you provided is for one.

They are called a "Clothes Valet" or "Suit Stand" - there was one in my AUH Hilton hotel suite on the weekend.

They are used to hang ones clothes and whatnot in a crease free and airy environment overnight before reusing them tomorrow. There often small areas to place coins, keys and other pocket items.

[-]SWMO[/-] SWMBO scored one from a garage sale or some such a decade ago.

Well there you go, I've learnt something today. I'm fine with using coathangers and a wardrobe, so I wont be disappointed if I don't see one again.

I have never seen you wear a suit... that said, no reason you can put other clothes on it ;)

Anyone ever received a call from a telemarketer from the Philippines trying to flog "really good" all-inclusive deals to Cancun, Mexico?

No, I did not purchase anything, and did some Googling after hanging up (eventually! Damn hard sell wannabes...)

The joys of silent numbers and being on the marketing "do not call" list - the only ones we get occasionally are the international ones...but the "I can't hear you" and pushing some buttons then hanging up is always my first option

Heads up to those who are trying to use Chrome to access nab internet banking might be having issues (particularly accessing transaction history). Seems that for the last week it's been flaky at best...so off to use IE or download Mozilla.

Aaaghh, IE is soooo slow...
