Due to lack of interest drinks in Brisbane on Wednesday, 25 February 2009 has been cancelled....
A few superfluous words in there? Perhaps should read:

Due to lack of interest ... Brisbane ... has been cancelled.... :p

Well, an upcoming state government election triggers a lack of interesting for me .

WP pack came in the mail today...along with a shiny new black card.

w00t :D

Congrats on getting the Platinum card, do Qantas issue Gold luggage tags.

The Platinum baggage tag can save about 30 seconds in F lounge time. ;)

I should be good for March's effort. :) I assume Wed March 25?

Wednesday March 25 should work for me as well.

I can continue on an alcohol free work week.

I was being serious. I think I can lose ~5 kilos if I don't drink alcohol for 4 weeks. Where is that motivation when you need it. :p

It's interesting that you say that... last year, I abstained for 4 weeks and the only exercise I did was one game of hockey a week.. and I shed 5kg! Crazy.

These days though, I've got it down to drinking 1 night a week, and gym 3-4 times... seems to do OK.

Sounds like a plan just as long as you don't cram five nights drinking into one.:p

Already produce enough wind-isnt that bad for greenhouse gas though?
Bike-well I admit it would be much better for me but I could fall off even a stationary bike so thats out.
Solar it is.

Sounds as good as any other date. ...

Might I suggest Wed 20th May for one of these. It's just prior to OzFest and there is at least one FTer in town:
FlyerTalk Forums - View Single Post - "Oz Fest #6" - Cairns Queensland - Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-24, 2009
Kiwi Flyer said:
Thanks ...

BTW happy to meet up with anyone staying in Brisbance 20th for drinks & early dinner.

Sounds good. I must have missed that post.

Its only just been posted on the Oz Fest VI thread on FT so unless you check FT or AFF daily sometimes more like me and a few others you may have missed it.

March 25 works
May 20 possible.
Easter Friday 10 April 2009 - Monday 13 April 2009
April 22 possible;

Sorry to plan every ones life.

Something is wrong with this thread, when I click the little icon in the thread title to go to the last post in the thread it takes me to page one.
Only happens on this thread.

I believe it is for any thread with greater than 1000 posts (e.g. the Amex promo thread). Instead of clicking on "last post" try clicking on "first unread post" - to the left of the thread title.

This handy hint brought to you courtesy of some other poster whose name escapes me.
