I introduce mrsdrron as my 1st and 2nd wife. After 24 years we were remarried by Elvis in Vegas. Now in our 38th year.I am normally referred to as "stupid".
Partner was always my business partner.

Maybe it's a generational thing. Most people I know of my age and down would understand "partner" to mean domestic partner in most cases.

Mind you, I'm not pretending to be an expert on "my generation", so I'm willing to stand corrected.

Well at least the Aussies have won a test against the Proteas at last.

Must remember to pack the sunscreen when I head up to Easterfest next month. And raid a few J amenities kits for the ear plugs .
Easterfest ! Blimey I'm still eating the leftovers from Christmas and now you're telling me it's Easter ! :(
I think I'll become a monk.

I've got too much cheap wine left to drink before I start on the Chartreuse or whatever it is they make.

That stuff is deadly. I downed four shots of that once with chilli sauce as my mates at work tried to get me plastered and spewing. Unfortunately for them, they failed. They tried the same thing on the 2IC and her sister the previous year, and it only took one shot each for them and they were already yakking.

As for the cheap wine, what the hell are you doing, boy?!

I get all my wine from an online auction site heaps cheaper than retail, our friend platy has also been spending big on the Amex,or so I believe, after I gave him the nod about the site.:)

I do the same. Sometimes you have to take a punt on whether it will good, or just plonk, but you're pretty much doing the same if you go to Dan Murphy's but gambling far less money.

I've had several cases in the last 6 months, with an average price of around $3.50 a bottle. That includes a case of sparkling shiraz too (and it was damned good for the price!).

At the moment I'm drinking some WA sangria of all things ! I bought 12 1 litre cartons for $9.00 plus delivery and I tell you it's really nice, put it in the freezer to get it nice and cold ,put some ice and some mint leaves in a glass and it's fantastic with a chicken salad or something light.
Since I started using this site I have had excellent value wines, and I've had some premium wines at crazy prices.:)

Hmm; anyone noticed that Anat0l has got 666 posts.

Every time I seem to fly somewhere it involves drinking. Travel seems to make me drink more.

I'm back on the booze now I've had my ~3 week break from the evil stuff. Co-incidentally, my next long haul is on Thursday ... see the connection?

Try flying weekly. :(

Friday was extremely bad and I slept through Saturday morning, missed golf and most of Saturday was a write off. Sunday was not much better and I slept through Monday morning and got to work late. :(
