I don't know why Twitter suggested I follow our false prime minister and Joe Hockey. I did successfully restrain myself in punching the laptop screen or suggesting a call to arms in a DDoD attack on Twitter.
 
31C for the next two days in MEL. Like clockwork, I predict the weather people will describe it as an Indian Summer. Year after year this description just gets so boring.

Seeing I have only been using it in the last 3 weeks to follow the MH370 search in particular AMSA I doubt I will have too much problem from withdrawal symptoms.

Given the underlying link is .ir then more than dodgy!! I don't think QF is cutting costs to the extent they would have a customer service centre in Iran.

Definitely a hoax. Delete immediately.

Anyone here - don't be a dill: don't click the link.

Analysing the underlying URL (not clicking on it) will usually give away the game. There aren't too many other sophisticated phishing attacks like that, unless someone somehow hacks a whole part of the target web domain.

I realised it looked dodgy.

What scares is the amount of information people can collect from someone's personal computer. LinkedIn is sending me regular updates and if I know these people and want to connect with them. Now these people are not people in my Hotmail contact list but I have had email conversations with these people in the past. And more than likely I have a copy of the email still sitting somewhere in my inbox.

How is LinkedIn getting that information? Hotmail giving them that information? Are they trawling throigh my emails? I have emails in my inbox from Qantas with my name and I am not sure if the QFF number is in the email.

I watch question time.The look on Wayne Swan's face as Joe gave the previous government both barrels over economic management was priceless.Wayne just kept staring at his feet.

Haven't been keeping up with the FF world much lately - the "real" world, rat race, travel and life, etc have been pretty hectic of late.


I flew home for the weekend and it felt like I flew in, did my laundry, swapped some items around in my bag, then left again.

The one person I did manage to catch up with was a Flyertalker from out of town.

What a strange life I have...
