OK. I will try the download tonight. What have I got to lose? Functionality?

What language is the Wikipedia article written in? It does not resemble English in the slightest. I had a severe headache after reading a couple of paragraphs....

You'll be fine - my experience with IE8 is that it's not dissimilar to IE7 when you start it up - it's things that you can add to it that make the difference. So you'll be fine.

I reread the Wikipedia article, and realised that it does have a lot of jargon. Sorry. Essentially, it has new features, many of which you may or may not use.

I'd give some thought to Firefox as well. Also worth a try. But if you only want one browser and you're not willing to change, then IE8 and keep on using it as you already do with IE7.

Believe me when I say I need to keep things as simple as possible. I am even surprised how I am an IT developer and have no idea about all this new stuff on the market.

We have Firefox at work and I have looked at it a few times and did not see anything I wanted so I will stick with Internet Explorer even though some people may think I am missing out on something by not using Firefox, Mozilla, Safari etc.

And yes I will try to download Internet Explorer 8 once I get a stable 3 Mobile broadband connection. It is as slow as a wet week and I just had to replace the USB modem at an additional cost to me of $5/month as the other USB modem was visibly damaged beyond repair even though it was garbage from the beginning....

The hot n spicy kebab thing is quite tasty, and come to think of it .. it's been a while since I've had KFC!

It's interesting to hear you are on some sort of program Alanslegal. anat0l is also doing something similar, and I've just started back on mine (in fact I have a session with my personal trainer in 1.5 hours ).

I've always found April-July to be the most successful months..... it's funny how things occur.

How many people have heard of a trick/hoax, played a trick, or had a trick played on them today, i.e. April Fool's Day?

The only one I heard about today is about PRG. Even the normally bubbly Sunrise program didn't do anything special this morning.

Nothing much out here, but I do work with a bunch of prudes :mrgreen:

And on that note, hometime!

I actually feel better doing my program, plus I've shaved at least half an inch off my waist as well as about 4-6kg.

The real pressure will be on in the next month or so, with travel in late April and big travel in late May.:shock::shock:

Maybe I should try out your program? Which one is it and do you have to pay money to do it?

I have managed to lose ~3kgs in the past 3 months, which to me is acceptable, but I really need to lose a lot more, and keep it off, although I have lost at least an inch off my waist.

It's called the "reduction in booze" and "30 minutes of moderate exercise at least 5 times a week" program

The biggest I've seen today is probably on Whirlpool. They reliably do one every year.

Abstinence certainly helps a lot!

I also have been maintaining an average of 12000 steps per day. (Typical range is 8000-12000, had a couple of days of 13000+.)

Mind you, weight loss is pretty difficult when travelling (esp. when as a WP ;))...and when under stress :(.

As someone that a few years ago lost 30kg (just under 25% of my body weight), I commend you for your efforts!

I really should get one of the step counters. It would be interesting to see how many steps I do per day. In saying that though I do walk down from the 6th floor apartment every morning, walk up and down Jacobs Ladder most days and now I try to walk down the fire stairs from the 6th floor to the ground floor at work at least twice a day.

I am depressed and under a lot of stress and find it extremely difficult to lose weight. In saying all that though I have seen people stressed and worried for long periods of time and they lose lots of weight....

I am stressed because I am still at work, maybe I spent too much of my day reading AFF and FT and about all the locations I could go, now that I deferred the tax bill. Long story.

Had a good conversation today; we send one of our sales guys away to different customers this time Sydney

He was going to be late for his flight back to Brisbane, we had only paid one of those Red-e-Deals I said worry about it when you get to the airport. Seems that he caught a flight 1.5 hours later and Qantas only charged $44.00 for a rebooking fee. Thanks Qantas. Yes there were other red-e-deals all afternoon so I guess Qantas just changed the flights for them.
