Well, I've had half a representative sample; does that make it an unrepresentative sample?

Once, 3 HP's at SYD T3 QP was a representative sample.

When I first came across AFF/FT in November '04 there was a Xmas session planned here for Wed 30th November.

I had already booked a connection MEL-xSYD-BNE (as you do), but only had 40 mins betwixt scheduled times; with boarding this cut it down to approx 25 mins.

Cutting a short story shorter, it was great to meet some of the people, but 3 HP's in 25 mins made for quite an cruisy flight to BNE. 8)

OT or not OT?

If the forum is OT does that make the OT thread then OT and thus OT with itself and therefore also OT?

:!: Warning :!: Warning :!:

Critical mass approaching; with OT posts this thread my be about to implode.

Speaking of ONT, I was tempted to fly ONT-LAX for novelty purpose (and an extra lot of minimum miles) as it added only a couple of dollars over the direct to LAX. I havent yet booked it as I've heard horror stories about misconnecting there and being stranded. Its an expensive taxi ride to get to the next flight if I miss ONT-LAX.

I thought JK was referring to an ontological argument. You know, the sort that propounds the inarguable posit that one cannot doubt the existence of a greater incorporeal divine entity. What springs to mind is the position of René Descartes in the seventeenth century where he defended a series of relevant arguments. For instance, in the Fifth Meditation, Descartes claims to provide a proof demonstrating the existence of God from the idea of a supremely perfect being. Descartes argues that there is no less contradiction in conceiving a supremely perfect being who lacks existence than there is in conceiving a triangle whose interior angles do not sum to 180 degrees. Hence, he supposes, since we do conceive a supremely perfect being — we do have the idea of a supremely perfect being — we must conclude that a supremely perfect being exists.

Can you repeat all that again.

You lost me straight after you said "I thought JK ..."
