And the cat 'adopted' the family 5 years ago. Lucky kid.

Not a political comment just an observation but I suppose I'll get slated for it anyway :)

The tax system explained in beer

David R. Kamerschen, Ph.D. – Professor

Inquisitiveness got the better of me and I found this :

Complete vitae available online. Contrary to Internet folklore, Dr. Kamerschen is NOT the author of "Tax Cuts: A Simple Lesson in Economics" or “Bar Stool Economics” or anything similar to that. Additionally, he does NOT know who wrote it and he has no opinion on its merits.
DR. DAVID R. KAMERSCHEN is a Distinguished Professor of Economics and holder of the Jasper N. Dorsey Chair at the University of Georgia, Department of Economics, Brooks Hall, Athens, GA

Well good effort I'm not in a position to argue I just thought it was funny but I'm sure more people thought it was not funny in the slightest which is why I miss the Abbot in government thread lol

No argument Pukka, I enjoyed it too - a good analogy.

Cats are funny like that... Whether they are a kitten or a Cat they seem to know how to choose you!

The Cats I had that were the best, wanted me to adopt them.

After 72 months of tribulation, anguish and toil, and about 3 further months of impatient agony, three extra suffixing letters or two extra prefixing letters are only about 2-3 weeks away. :o

You should be on top of the world, so whats 2-3 weeks after all that time, you should get out the happy smileys.:D:cool::D

I've just realised that I can't add. :o It's not 72 months... it's 70 months (5 years and 10 months... and of course there's been 'interruptions' in between that).

It's an interesting feeling. I'm glad I'm at the end of it, but it's taken a bit longer than I anticipated. I've gone through a huge undulating journey filled with both enthusiasm as I have ennui and frustration. Life, of course, doesn't stop, even though for five years, it almost felt like that.

In a way, I feel like I set out to find a cure for a friend with a disease, and I've just found it, but my friend has already died.

Maybe I'm being too harsh on myself...

Yes you are; but I guess part of the finishing of this course is what lies ahead for you.

70 months; 72 months; whats a couple of days. none of us are going to count them for you.

Life is going to be filled with up and down days.

Johnk hasn't got your password has he.

How would I have guessed the first 2 Perth residents I met through FT/AFF would now be living away from Perth.

Just realised that it's costing me twice as much next week to rent a group B car in PER as I have rented either an Audi A1 or an A Class Merc in the UK. :(

Xanax can cause liver issues in some people.

Thanks for the heads up. I have worked out exactly what could be causing the liver issues due to the nature of the blood test they have been doing. Unfortunately without that medication or a replacement I will not be able to get out of bed and get out and about.

I still don't know if I have anything to worry about regarding the liver. I guess I will find out soon enough.

Yes, they are special WA editions PF: On normal cars sold over here, indicators are optional extras, so they had to pay to get them fitted...

Booze has a direct effect on BP⬆️⬆️meaning ups it and of course it's direct effect on liver pancreas is not crash hot. Xanax is a benzo had no idea it affected the liver so......much? It's rare with like jaundice......reaction.

Watching the bottom dwelling Adelaide trounce Collingwood in the AFL was most enjoyable. Well the last 5 minutes of it was what I really watched to make sure Colliwobbles really did lose the game.

Ah but booze raises your HDL cholesterol if taken in moderation which is good.
Also if you are over 80 the Dubbo study has shown no matter what dose of alcohol you take you live longer than non drinkers. Now just have to make 80!

I have these terrible thoughts that his mum is meant to go first she's 15 years older than mine and far less nice, but thats too mean a thought to say to him … its only come up once every week or two but it still is there. Why my mum, theres other people, like your mum, more deser… no thats too mean a thought. Is much how it goes. Then I feel bad.

And we know life doesn't pick and select who gets to hang around and who doesn't. And many babies, young children and young adults have succumbed to the wicked disease so it's not about deservedness or being nice or nasty. Sometimes cough just happens.

Prolly not going to help your relationship with the soon to be fiancé to even go there. :)

The crowd was amazing. The noise of 50,000 barracking for just 1 team.

Pretty nice night really. ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1400193283.397614.jpg
