Nearly made a travel related mistake this morning.I have been looking at an underwater camera for my next trip.priced just over $300 at the cheapest I can find.Mrsdrron got an email about a service issue we have had and it gave a link to their 4 day tech sale. There is the camera for $299.fortunately mrsdrron was on the ball realising that at $299 it was under the Tax rebate limit of $300.Turns out $20 cheaper if I pay the higher price!
Wonder if I went in and said could I pay $300 please what they would say.

I've wondered this at a few places, such as SIN when a clothes purchase comes in at $99. Can I pay 100 and get a TRS receipt?

Buy an overpriced memory card as well and you then get the trs discount. Doesn't even have to be on the same tax invoice these days, just the same merchant.

In a stroke of good fortune, my NF65 flight from NOU to VLI today is totally full(except for me) of missionaries off to do their thing to some remote islands. There is no way the plane is going to crash right? :)

I'm not saying the glass is half empty, but of course if God isn't Christian....

Thanx for that useful info. I just bought a $1250 Nikon, and now realise that at 24 megapixel/pic I need some larger, but more importantly higher write speed cards, so hi-ho, hi-ho its back to Hardley Normal we go.

Well if there is an emergency and they have to assume the 'position' you better hope they actually listened to the briefing. ;)

It has to be the exact same retailer to submit multiple invoices.

In the case of Hartley normal that doesn't even mean the same store, for instance the electrical section will often trade under a different ABN to the computers, and it's the ABN that matters.

I had one of my worst online shopping experiences with Hardly normal. But probably one of the most easiest instore price matches.

Fortunately Louis vuttion online store use the same ABN as the Sydney city store. Allowed a trs claim for a couple of smaller items purchased separately.

I am in a mega SH!TTY mood due to the fact that I saw the orthopaedic surgeon today and I am in the damn moon boot for another 6 weeks.

I'm mega happy today. Passport has been returned and my visa extended.
