Erk! Back to work and a week's "Station Appreciation"....do tell:?:

Think of my version of air crew airport appreciatation time on reserve & that was my week on stand by.

But now I have a couple of driving shifts instead.

Lesson #1 learned this week: patience IS a virtue.
Lesson #2 learned this week: the first step is always the hardest to make.

If Queensland won the final state of origin match 32-8 and the score in the series was Qld 46 to NSW 24 does that mean Queensland should win the state of origin.:p:lol::cool:

Any chance I can blame Jetstar for Queensland losing the state of origin.;)

Brilliant stage win. Brilliant yellow jersey defence. And Contador dropped 2.75 minutes.

A really eventful stage with Froome out of the tour.
And I agree the yellow jersey defence was brilliant.

Been waiting for the 9:33am train. No announcement. Nothing. Now the board has switched to the 9:48am and delayed ~8 minutes. Great customer service.

Going to work ~25-30 minutes later than planned. Not today. I knew I shouldn't have picked up that 5 cent piece outside my apartment building. As I was walking to train station I was thinking what will go wrong today.

18months remaining as WP/OWE. Zero, none, nadda travel planned for the foreseeable future. :( add to that job uncertainty in the next couple of months too..might have to go into AFF silent mode for a while.

And as I walked out of train station I found a 20 cent piece. Not good.

The sky is falling?

So if you weren't delayed you'd be 20 cents poorer. Go scratch a scrathie with that 20 cent piece.

Maybe you just value your time highly?

Or there are people who need it more than me. Learnt that one from a school teacher in a small town in the NT. I half freaked out when she just dropped her change on the ground. She replied that some of her students might find it and get to eat that week. I quickly got used to it.

Don't come and catch trains during peak hour in the UK then

How good are these new E class trams in Melbourne? DING DING DING!

Haven't been on one yet. They don't operate on the only route I take.

Looks like their is power problems with the E class Trams.

There are currently just five E-Class trams operating, all of them on route 96 between Brunswick East and St Kilda Beach, with the remaining 45 due to be introduced at the rate of one a month from July.
