I've never been so ill with a virus before. 2 hours ago I was lying on the couch and Mrs QF WP was actually really worried about what I had - I have no recollection of about 90 mins as I was battling the fever, waiting for the doctor to come.
I don't know what you are getting from the kids but I have only had flu like symptoms 3-4 times in the past 15 years when it was knocking me out for at least 1 week ~3 times a year before then.

For someone with auto-immune disorder the flu vaccine has been a Godsend.

I just had the most scary part of the whole week. I had just had some Nurofen and I had a turn - felt like throwing up and passing out at the same time. Have just sweated through my clothes and feel better than I have all day. When is it going to stop,,

ooh sounds nasty.....I hope the meds kick in soon and .....take care

Wow, the last week has been interesting to say the least. My son was ill last weekend and kindly gave it to me on Monday night. Tuesday was meant to be working from home but I knew I was coming down with something, progressively getting worse. Wednesday cracked 38.5C multiple times during the day - Panamax took care of that. Knew I had a virus by this time - chills followed by fever, repeat and rinse. Started taking cold & flu tabs and canned the Panamax.

Thought I was getting better last night but today it came back with a vengeance. Chills and fever which cracked the magic 40 degrees about 2 hours ago.

Just had a home doctor service come in and tell me I have an ILI - temp was still 38.6 when she was here.

Damn that has been a week I don't grant to repeat. Off to get the antibiotics, stat

Lucky you got the home doc. 40 is ED territory. Take care of yourself. Hope you're back to your normal self soon.

Thankfully a decent night sleep but the expectoration is just beautiful :( (I won't go into detail).

Another day at home...more time off in the last week than the last 5 years.

Straitman, you're old enough to be their father - behave :D ;)

Dear SMC at SYD, Virgin planes belong in the Virgin gates, not in the GA area , or sitting on 07/25 for twenty minutes at the Mascot end.
