Oops. I seem to have booked myself a 6 or so hour layover in LAX later this year. Arriving on QF11, then have a 5:45pm flight.

Whatever will I do with my day??
A burger for lunch, perhaps?

In n out run...

Used Qantas Restaurants for a booking Saturday night for the first time. Hopefully it goes quite smooth.

EEk.They have pinched my shorts!Didn't think they would make that many trousers out of them though.

One of the guys at the social golf club ordered from Loudmouth yellow jacket and pants and wears them when we play on Sundays. Awful.

Jobs, apparently, are like buses: you dont have one for three months... then get offered three in 10 days.

*Bangs head against wall*

Was looking at a position in a NSW hospital that I haven't worked at before. They wanted me to read through 503 pages of policy directives, fill out 18 pages of application and do 2 online teaching modules.I decided they didn't want my services.

Double whammy?

This evenings flight cancelled this morning. Apparently they called me but I generally ignore Private numbers. Called Reservations and got on flight 1 hour earlier. This flight may depart the same time as my original cancelled flight. :)

And I am sitting in TSV with my VA flight at least 30 minutes late due to BNE weather.
At least VA sent an SMS to this lowly red.Though I only checked in online today and first aisle seat 23C.

Sheesh...must be popular on your flight (or it's just a typical Friday night).

On a recent flight, my sister (Red as well) checked in a bit less than 24 hours in advance and managed row 6. I, as a Silver, could have selected row 3-5 as well, though only one seat in each of 3 and 4, and the other seat in row 5 was inaccessible to my sister.

It's surprising what the system will let you get away with sometimes.

On another note, I didn't think the rain in BNE got that bad, but who am I to comment on what that can do for airports....

Thanks.

Lighten up JohnK. Golf is only a game - not something to be taken seriously.;);)

Very popular flying out of TSV late Friday.Same going to TSV late sunday.Used to have the same problem flying in and out of DPO.
I ended up choosing 29C as row 29 was the only row with no allocated seats.Ended up with my red shadow.;)
Row 29 was the only row with empty middle seats.Unfortunately I was planning on a quick exit via rear stairs but due to the rain only the front door was used.
As well we were put into a 30 minute holding pattern over BNE so ended up an hour late.
