Actually, looks like I got an upgrade to 64Gb - pretty sure my old one was only a 32Gb

IPad mini, purchased 30/3/13

Apple got quite a rap on the knuckles from the ACC about products that did not last as long as they should even though the warranty had expired. The suggestion was iProducts should be supported for at least 2 years. It is possible Apple have taken this to heart.

Looks like my personal iPad has died (markis10 will remember my initial days of ownership).

Refused to turn on after recent overnight charge. At the Apple iPad store now and he tried but agreed it's time for a funeral.

Very impressed with the service - he replaced it even though it was out of outside warranty. Thankfully I think most is on iTunes/Cloud.

Now to go home and set it back up

Your plight reminded me of this meme.

As zealously determined as you are about consumer rights, I am very surprised you did not take your case through the ACCC.

I think he would have just been happy to no longer have to use a Sony laptop........

That's unkind! :) Best laptops ... until they die. I immediately replaced it with another!

Going through the long process of restoring from iTunes, last backup was a while ago (about a year, how time flies). Oh well, just got to get the last years worth of photo & video from dropbox. Now hope I can work that out..

Anyone using the AAMI safe driver app? Drove 600 km yesterday and it managed to record 140km. Apparently I was off road for the rest of it as it couldn't validate the roads.

Seeing as we don't really have a definitive AFF wine thread or area I am going to post this offer in a few places.

I am one of a growing group of people who feel Halliday has become too generous in his old age, but I still read his reviews.

Murphys Law - the best hotel upgrades always happen when you can't really "use" the room.

I've had 3 types of suite in this hotel in the last 2 months and haven't really been able to [ab]"use" the room.

I'm sure they think that high level elite clients always check in late and won't utilise the rooms other than to sleep - I echo your thoughts for my Hiltons stays (although ASP was a nice shock that we definitely utilised to the full!!)
