For the kids it certainly is.For those my age it would be disaster.
Basically the trend for kids to move back home so as to save money.Usually the parents costs go up and workload increases.

And I can attest that it is certainly the case!

The wild fires in Western Australia have worsened and whole towns are threatened. Hopefully everyone can scramble to safety and there may be a call up of the army and army reserve to help defend lives and property. It is a time to follow directions given by authorities and the idea of staying to defend against a fire of this size would not be a great idea.

Mrs QF WP has been disagnosed with a ganglion in her right wrist (yes she's right handed) - which necessitates surgery as the GP said (something about) being multiple small bubbles in a big bubble, rather than being able to have a fine needle aspiration. Fantastic . Looks like I'll be doing everything in the house for at least a couple of weeks in recovery. Now she's off to contact some "hand doctors". *Wry smile*

Wish doctors and pathology reports would talk in simple language ;)

"At the level of compartment 4 extensor digitorum and extensor indictus tendons there is a lobulated ganglion measuring approx 1.7 x 0.4 x 0.7cms. This appears to be compressing the C4 tendons. It can be traced to the radiocarpal joint space".

clazman, stop filling me with dread :D. Actually, I'm not averse to house work, plus I have two young kids that thinks its still fun (and they can earn pocket money). Looking for some frozen meals to tide us through, so my Woolies orders will increase. The good thing is that during her recuperation, she'll be able to catch up on all her saved shows on IQ (like Eastenders), so she'll clear the cache and I'll have some space to save some of my shows and be able to watch them when I've collapsed after finished all the housework.

Makes sense to me;)

Should it be prince Sir Phillip? What complete DH decided that knighthood was a good idea? He's already a companion o the order of Australia. Then he has this little selection of knighthoods already:

Great now a knight of the order of Australia. Woopty do!

Also what complete DH at Windsor castle agreed to it.

The problem would not have occurred if the father of the DH who decided that knighthood was a good idea had used a nighthood before the DH was conceived. This would also have helped the nation.

Sounds like there are good nighthoods and bad knighthoods.

Spending inheritance? I don't have to worry about it without kids. :-|

As for getting inheritance. I would rather have my parents around for as long as possible. Couldn't dream of life without them.

Inheritance? What's that? I certainly don't plan on getting anything since my parents don't have much.

That's what I thought, but we were stunned to find out what my father had been squirreling away over the years. We weren't exactly wealthy growing up but never went without. Now that my mum has also died, it all comes to my sister and I. I really do wish he had spent more on themselves when they were alive, but I guess growing up during the depression, it was very difficult for him to to change his habits.
We couldn't afford to buy any commbank shares when it was privitised, my dad bought some and he also was reinvesting rather than taking a dividend, so we also have a nice little nest egg for a rainy day!
