I've been pretty happy with the Aus. number of late (6 bookings this year).
Call AAdvantage desk to get CX flights, put the bookings on hold, call the Aus. number to pay in AUD.
Not really asking them to do anything hard, but it's working ok for me.

Not sure about their exchange rate USD/AUD that they are using. I imagine that's been taken for a ride. But at least unlike last time, they aren't charging a huge fee to go with it. And the process was pretty smooth as well.

Someone mentioned something funny to me today. Made me laugh.

Up until recently 3 out of the 4 original members of BNE regular drinks moved away from Brisbane. One in UK, one in Switzerland and the other in Perth.

Guess which dope is still left in Brisbane?

I will be in Melbourne in 2 weeks watching Fremantle play St Kilda at Etihad stadium, and again in 4 weeks to watch Fremantle play North Melbourne, someone scheduled a champagne event to coincide with Fremantle playing in Melbourne.

I will next be in Perth on September for one of the finals matches, although hard to pick flights so far in the future, its unlikely to be the Friday 11 September. It will most likely be the Saturday 5:40pm game, now do I take a risk and book some flights, and need to secure a game ticket.
