Re: Who says share markets ALWAYS make money over long time periods?

My tenant at Tamworth has just been arrested for " conspiracy to murder " so glad I have not pi***d her off.

Long weekend now relegated to cleaning / painting / fixing it ready for a new tenant. Wood chopping will have to wait.

Re: Who says share markets ALWAYS make money over long time periods?

Nup - end of January ... NFL.com - Official Site of the National Football League

Not to mention college "American Football" is even bigger ... although that finishes in the new year.

If we're going off shore, I'll give you real football.

The website for the English football association, The FA Cup and The England football team - The Emirates FA Cup | The FA

etc. etc. etc.

Their season never ends.

All of our rentals are managed by a local Real Estate agent, it was them that notified us today. She did not get parole, her eldest lives in QLD and has to come down to collect her other kids, she has 2 weeks to clear out all of her mothers/kids things. So we don't know what we will be walking into yet.
Think the Bunnings card will get a work out.

Just remember to buy the gift cards from Coles to get FlyBuys whilst using your Amex.

It will help ease the pain. :)

Your tenant has also been charged with supplying a prohibited drug, dealing with the proceeds of crime and conduct drug premises.

A quick google news search will find it. Even if you didn't name the town, it isn't frequent people get charged with that offence!

Re: Who says share markets ALWAYS make money over long time periods?

Just googled the town and the charges.

I will pm you the news link.

And Free SuperGlue to put that jigsaw back together again for desert.

Sounds like it'll be much more difficult for them to get into the US now. That's multiple CIMT right there!

Well you don't have to chow down on it, but then the meal would suck, really.

Heard an awful TA story today. An Adelaide TA has gone bust. That happens. But this TA cancelled all her clients bookings and collected the money. The story I heard today from a friend was that she and her 2 children arrived at the Adelaide airport for her long service leave to Croatia. (This TA specialised in that area). Her parents were already overseas. At the checkin counter she was told that her tickets had been cancelled. She and her family told to go home. She contacted her parents who then found out their return tickets had been cancelled.

But not only that, the TA had never arranged the Travel Insurance that the family had paid for. They completely lost their money. All up with organising new flights and new accommodation they lost $20,000. These are not wealthy people but your average Joe Blow.

Why on earth this arrangement that a TA can cancel a flight paid for by someone else and who is flying, is a stunning loophole.

That's disgraceful. Some people are just crooks. I hope they are able to recover their money. No chance that they paid with a credit card is there?

This sort of mirrors the TA in Freo that also specialised in "Balkan" travel that also went under and left travellers high and dry.

I hope they purchased their tickets with a CC.

The front of Zym Import/Export — which also traded as Zym Travel.

TRAVELLERS affected by the collapse of a local travel agency in early August have been told they have next to no hope of getting their money back.

Creditors of Zym Import/Export Pty Ltd, also known as Zym Travel, gathered yesterday to learn that collectively they are owed more than $410,000 and that the realisable assets of the business are worth less than $17,000. Once all creditors’ claims have been processed, it is expected that the debt will exceed $500,000.
Absent from the meeting was Zym owner Zeljka Loncar, who has been charged with dishonestly dealing with documents and bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on September 10. The maximum penalty for that offence is 10 years’ imprisonment and there remains a chance that additional charges will be laid at the initial hearing.

Re: Who says share markets ALWAYS make money over long time periods?

I don't believe so...from manufacturer's website:

'This health-packed cereal is incredibly delicious. In fact, when the company was just starting out one of their very first customers said, "Holy cough... this is amazing!" That's where the name "Holy cough" comes from.'

Here's the website:

Non-GMO, gluten free, organic, vegan breakfast cereal – Holy cough Cereal

Surely if the customer said Holy cough that could implie that indeed it had promoted regularity and that could be amazing.:p:lol:;)
