Re: Who says share markets ALWAYS make money over long time periods?

Surely if the customer said Holy cough that could implie that indeed it had promoted regularity and that could be amazing.:p:lol:;)

Umm...depending on syllable stress...If holy was said with loudness and higher pitch then the emphasis moves away from cough. Anyway, you would know, cereals do more good than just nourishment.

Haynes continues to get a few grabs; I just wish the commentators would stop saying how all of Australia is going ga-ga over it. Personally, I'm mildly interested, but not enough to actually watch the game on the TV behind me.

Its only a media driven ga-ga.

Vale Brian Close.
A pommy I could admire.

Having issues uploading an image from the new version of the app.

After years of issues with a main sewerage pipe, people came to replace the pipe with a new one today.

After a full workday of digging to China, I don't think they've found the pipe yet despite lots of previous exploration.

Lucky for mum & I that we have 2 toilets.

Those kayakers were just lucky it didnt take them down! I did see pictures afterwards and they were ok. Imagine the heart rate.

I did read on cruise critic today that there are currently many whales in Juneau (Alaska) - more than usual. Maybe they are getting used to not being harpooned?

Been researching a whale trip for later this year out of Tromsø ... apparently the numbers are OTT there too.

This is one statement I have never understood.

How can you possibly compare what's around you with the unknown? For all we know this life could just be a simulation in a supercomputer.

Well, this is a large hailstorm now by Adelaide's standards.

When I just moved to Adelaide from Sydney/Brisbane. I was freaked out by the calmness of everyone else in the office at the first Adelaide hail storm. I was getting ready to run out with blankets for the car and everything. They were like "what's his problem". Anyway, after the storm - Damage on the car - nada.

That's just wrong.

So.... Adelaide is closer to heaven...?? hail has less distance to fall - hence less damage?

Lots of digging yesterday.

No digging today.

Lots of digging tomorrow.

Somehow they don't know where the pipe is that they need to replace despite all of the investigation they've done before.

Tomorrow I lose my clothesline & more of my backyard.
