Actually FRA is v. easy to go through :D

Indeed, it is more civilised. You've still got to face the potential grilling when you come over the channel though about whether you intend to work in the UK or not, and what your intentions are.

Enjoy your couple of days of relaxation in Rome, and the rest of your tour!

@drron

Had a goanna strike a few years ago.

Beechcraft SuperKingAir 1: Goanna 0
The only time I had a goanna strike was when trout fishing out of Armidale many years back.Didnt really want that line .

Indeed. Especially when utilising a certain terminal where quite often I'm the only person at security and immigration, apart from the staff and my assigned PA. And the limo transfer to the plane means one does not have to walk much at all.:D;)

I just read that V Australia is the official airline of Britney Spear's 'Circus' tour.

This quote has me curious:
Britney Spear's 'Circus' touches down in OZ with V Australia - Airline News - etravelblackboard.com

He continued, “Since we launched V Australia in February, we’ve been thrilled with the response. V Australia has hit the mark with a wide range of travellers including the niche celebrity market.”
“Much of that is due to the superb service provided by our outstanding crew and careful design of our aircraft to include features such as our ‘Row 5 privacy suite’ in International Business Class.”

That's a nice way to describe the last row of seats in J - infront of the bar/lavs for PE, but behind the entrance door between Zone A and B. See the map for details: http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/V_Australia/V_Australia_Boeing_777-300ER.php

I don't know who to feel sorry for most after reading that. The poor FA's who are stuck waiting on her every need, pax in the rest of the tin can who have to be in close proximity to her, or the cleaners who'll be working doubly-hard to get Britney taint out of the seats before the next flight.

Do you guys have any idea where to find a copy of the floppy disk drive that comes with a motherboard? Its a 775i65G Asrock. I need the SATA drivers and stuffed if i can find them anywhere...

Is this a new OS install? Or are you adding a new drive? Which OS?

I did have some stuff here originally, but suspect I'm wrong.

My best guess:

Have you tried using the INF drivers on the download page ASRock > Products > Motherboard > 775i65G > Download or alternatively via Intel's website:  INF Update Utility - Primarily for Intel® 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets

Been a long while since I've had to play with SATA drivers etc, but note that the Intel Chip onboard controls the SATA.

Its a new hard drive on an old board. I ditched the Floppy drive a few weeks ago with the thought that i would never ned it again! Typical

I am in between changing it over and upgrading and i was hoping that it would ahve been a bit easier than it was. I am prettyt sure that i have gotten that file and tried to apply it but im not sure. Ill try it when i get home and see how it goes.

I had two positive dealings with Amex today! :)

1. Queried charge - turns out the name that comes on the (online) statment in no way reflects the actual business. Nor is it even int he same city as where the purchase was made ()

2. Called later when i realised said business is currently under a bonus point offer - called again then to get appropriate bonus points credited (a measly 450 or so) and was told "dont waste any more time, we'll credit you with 1000pts immediately" - now 1k pts in my acct 10 mins later.

Thanks Amex, after the 5k/5t debarcle, you've actually shown me some goodwill and I'm appreciative!

Another plug for tripit; VS checkin wanted to know where I was going after the flight to Hong Kong; well I didn't print out the itinerary so I handed over the iphone with the tripit page. The tripit page could do with a few more directions for hotels especially if you are not in place to access the online maps to find the hotel.

Have a similar issue with Borders (online) - charged to "REDGROUP ONLINE"??? - no bonus points with their http://www.americanexpress.com/australia/personal/cards/rewards/bonuspoints.shtml promotion.

So I have ceased being a Poor Student and am now officially a full time member of the workforce....:mrgreen::cool:
