It actually is a burger joint. The premises used to be a "Chinese" restaurant called Happy Palace, and obviously they have used the same EFTPOS terminals.

There's a burger restaurant in Bern (CH) called Kung Fu Burger. The place used to be a Chinese restaurant; when it changed to burgers, they didn't do much to change the whole character of the place.

Nice burgers... at Swiss (Bernese) prices, naturally.

Realised we usually have no choice over catastrophic sometimes.

I came close to dying today. A lot closer than I need to experience while I am still alive. Luckily just bruising everywhere.

I am hoping today's "accident" is the culmination of the agony of the past 3 days. I could sense something was wrong but didn't know what would happen or how to stop it. Still in shock. Could have been a lot worse.

Not being cryptic. Too much detail is not always appropriate.

April was a pretty epic month for me.

I started the month with a fantastic weekend in Adelaide and the Barossa Valley with Buzz and 25 AFFers. I celebrated a significant birthday, and had numerous events, meals and drinks over the month with friends and family. And yesterday I closed the month with a black tie dinner party organised by one of my best friends and his wife.

Phew!

My credit cards are well and truly in severe pain, so I will be having a quiet May by comparison.
