I'm 44 and still live with Mummy. Yes it does sound weird and is weird.
I am her carer though so that negates the mummies boy tag to a point.

I do get $100 a fortnight and I thank all the tax payers out there for it.
People might mention nursing homes but I just couldn't go there.
Yes my father has just been tricked into one.Actually now into his second which would be perfect apart from one b**** of a night nurse.Compassion not a prerequisite for the job.
BTW less than 50 posts now.You know what I mean.

Watched Avenue Q tonight. Not too bad a theatre production. Very American, but creative and different.

I saw it on Sunday evening- I thought it was a pretty good show and my girlfriend loved it.

Was in the A reserve seats for (student price) $50- worth it at that price at least.

Ah, that's the other one we were considering going to see. Was it worth seeing?

If their type of humour is your thing, then definitely. I liked it, but can see how some people wouldn't like it.

Wanted to see Shawshank, but the season finished at the end of last month.

How To Avoid a Shark Attack

1. Don't swim in the sea.

More than 99% of all shark attacks happen in large water masses, also known as oceans. The way to establish if you're in an ocean is to taste the water. It should taste salty.

2. Swim with fat people.

Always make sure there are fat people already in the water before you enter.
Chances are you will be able to swim faster than them and save yourself.

3. Don't go in the water without a knife.

That's to stab the nearest swimmer when you see a shark. As soon as he/she bleeds profusely, swim as fast as you can to the shore and claim you tried your best to save him/her. You might end up getting an award for bravery.

4. Listen intently.

All sharks have a 'theme song' - If you hear the following, swim for your life :
da-dam, da-dam, da-dam. If it sounds like this dadam, dadam, dadam you're
already gone so forget it!

5. Don't panic.

Stay calm when a shark bites you. Its over, you're gone and it doesn't help you try and survive. The people on the shore will appreciate it, they don't want to hear your mad yelling and screaming, it's not nice. It's not all about you you know....

So does anyone think the world will end on December 21, 2012?

Raelians, Planet X, Nibiru etc are just a sad myth of twisted minds....

Which timezone? Also, wouldn't it make more sense for the world to implode on Dec 20, 2012?

oooh - 20/12/2012.

I really have an issue with these "the world will end on...." freaks. They are convinced the world will come to an end a week next Thursday, just after lunch, BUT they still have a superannuation plan....
