On a warm Sunday afternoon in Times Square there were several young ladies who had painted their upper bodies. I thought I should post this to boost the tourist trade between our two nations.

One of those times when your preference of not taking photos really really harms us all cove.

Some in patriotic stars and stripes I see...

I still have both my parents but they are in there mid to late 70's and health overall very good. Dad is actually fitter and healthier than he was 15 years ago. He goes to the gym everyday and does 3 PT session a week

My parents, 80, too in excellent health. Dad walks between 65 and 80 km each week and he can't wait to do city2surf for the umpteenth time, this Sunday.

I know that the QF HKG Lounge offers a pressing service for the P1s.

The BA J arrivals lounge at LHR used to have a pressing/freshen up service that happened while you were in the shower. You would take your gear off, place it in a special door in the door, and it would miraculously come back all fresh and nice. They also had a shoe shine service.

That is standard across all banks and includes a document production fee. I was PO'ed at the $250 NAB wanted a few years ago. Especially, as part of the deal was being charged a fee for production of documents (i.e. title) for my guarantor. Problem was NAB no longer held the title document as the guarantor had paid out their mortgage long ago.

In any case, you will pay a fee for them to "produce" the documents. I don't even know what this means these days as the titles register is fully electronic in most states.

In NSW you still need to physically produce the CT, a new CT issues with each registered dealing (apart from Caveats)

They still have that service, or at least it would be nuts if they cut it out since I last used that service two years ago.

The new UA lounge in LHR T2 also offers this service.

Now we were holidaying in Los Angeles last week and my friend noticed how many young ladies had breast jobs. I hadn't noticed up until then as I was looking at the handbags and high heels down at South Coast Plaza.
It was only when I got to New York that I really noticed. Sorry no photos....you have to come and see for yourselves as you are AFFers.

Your friend must have impressive eyesight or other... rather esoteric (exotic?) skills and/or experience to know which ladies had breast jobs and which ones did not.

Body painting has been a rather popular trend in New York, particularly in Times Square where people do it for busking/entertainment purposes. Apart from that, body positivity movement and all that.

At first I thought he must have X-ray vision but I concluded he had spent years developing his skills. Maybe I have spent too much time on making frequent flyer points and too little time on the finer points.

Having spent a June weekend in NY and a couple of days around LA the week after can I just state that things are different elsewhere. ..

He must have a good silicon detector. Does he speak the women and confirm his hypothesis?

While he may have well practised optic skills, a certain quality assurance is required. What is his % hit rate?. There really is only one way to be sure..

Seems to be the case.

I guess it's the Mediterranean heritage where generally everything is black or white ... unless it is white or black ...

That would be correct. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Or something along those lines.

The other option is to pay through the nose or not go. Think I can bite my tongue for a few hours?
