Just had the plumber here for the third time in two months. *sigh* He has properly identified the roof leak and will hopefully be able to fix it now. I don't blame him, not at all. I assumed the leak was coming from a box gutter in the roof (don't ask!), turns out it's the result of a bad repair to the angle in the roof guttering. I think there should be laws about the way extensions can be attached to homes.

Home ownership is at once a wonderful security and an impossible bind.

We've had a plumber and repairer out about 3 times this year

We've decided to knock down the house and rebuild.... smart financial decisions may not be our strength

On the plus side, for the first time ever I shot off a complaint to VA and Im getting 10,000 points to shut me up :)

Interesting TV Show called City in the Sky on ABC tonight at 8:30pm, check your local guides.

You would be amazed at the internal wall damage done from high fronted gutters. Gutter Grip | Gutter Overflow Solution
At least you knew about the leak.

Last year we replaced all our high-fronted gutters which were less than ten years old. How on earth they ever got approved to be manufactured, let alone installed, is a mystery. The companies that produced them should be paying out compensation.

This wasn't tasty!
Saw a little puff of 'something' as I put this Costco cheese packet into the boot. Turned it over and check out the mould!

It'll be fine, just pretend it's a 'blue'!

There were some large packs of Gorgonzola on sale at our local Woolies, original price was from something like $65 down to $13. By the time i checked with the boss who is slowly starting to like 'blue' cheese, they had gone. They were very close to the use by date, but I figured cheese mould is cheese mould!

No Costco shopping for me.

MrP loves their business shirts. ~$25 for quality material. They wash and iron very well. Geoffrey Beane? $90.

Costco people were rather mortified!

It was the puff of mould coming out of the packet that got me Cossie. MasterP might have liked the blue but he hates Jarlsberg.

Well, don't shop at Coles, either. Bought this on Sunday, opened it this morning: "best before 15/09/2016" - ummm, no.

BB dates assume the item is stored appropriately. Supermarkets are notorious for having stock out of the cold room for too long when stacking shelves.

Thanks to you both for reminding me about checking out my front gutter which overflows in heavy rain...
