Fantastic news. Saw someone with a Pokémon on their phone getting off the train at Milton yesterday going to Suncorp stadium for the game.

To be honest that could possibly be the first time I have actually seen someone playing the game outside of the office lunchroom.

On a related note I believe Pokémon Go could be the beginning of the end for society as we know it. Move away from reality and be consumed by virtual reality. Some people may live their entire lives in virtual reality coming outside only to feed and sleep. Not happy with your life? Create a new life in virtual reality where you are in control.

A bit similar (well not really) we have developed a taste for caviar flavoured potato chips. Very yummy and they do not break the bank unless you want to eat lots of them. They have truffle flavoured ones as well.

Damn you!!

If I had not read this post, I would not have paid attention to the display of caviar chips so I could push them aside and find the truffle ones.

And then I would not have eaten a bag of them for lunch...

Was anyone but me aware of the 747 cargo plane that crashed on takeoff from MEL this morning? Good - considering it was an exercise involving multiple fire services, police and ambulance.

Quite the spectacle. And I got to stand back and watch.

It is not often we get to see the various emergency services working together on this sort of scale, so it is reassuring to know they can.
