The totally off-topic thread

The main headache will be for a mod to extract only the relevant, related posts; for medical, that's very broad, and has posts spanning back months (not the same subthreads, but certainly medical related).

And given the number of posts in this topic, I am certain the mods would CAREFULLY consider the consequences...
But then, will the topic be subject to the curse of 65535 (hint: JohnK amongst others should be able to explain.

Happy (mathematical) wandering

Actually, both of you are exhibiting second life behaviours since the original "The Game of Life"....
I have no idea what you are talking about but if there was a way I could have a secret life where no one knew what I was doing and I had total control then I am all for it.

I'd love to play golf and shoot 7 under and have total recollection of my achievement. I'd also love to do a few other things like my own simulation of Earth with my rules.

Pokémon Go will not provide that experience. CIV games are much closer.

Just checking my business bank account: I cheque I wrote in Nov 2012 was drawn on my account yesterday .

I always thought cheques went stale after 12-18 months or so.

Have just been caught laundering money again. I've left my wallet in my jeans when I put them through the washing machine.

Fortunately there is so little paper now that the damage is minimal.

So did I? I do remember one being drawn after a year or so but this amount of time? Maybe they died and the rellies found it going through their papers? :o

Westpac says a cheque becomes stale after 15 months (and I expect this will be standard across banks) so November 2012 is well out of date

Quote in the linked article - "Cheque may be refused". Apparently, according to CBA telephone person, the cheque is not checked if it's paid in through an ATM. Looking at image of cheque (I do like that feature of Netbank's), it appears to have been folded into fours and in a wallet/purse for a long time judging by the creases and general grubbiness.

If you want to "cheque" your theory..... Happy to receive a cheque of any amount and bank 1 day after 15 months ;)

Signs a cheque for $0.01 payable to Mr. Plant. ;)

(TBH, I have not had a cheque book for 10+ years)
