When working in the office on a Saturday, I have a Judge Judy marathon... because its mindless.

Current case, a "Intuitive Counsellor" is suing a psychic for not giving her job leads. You would have thought she would have seen that coming.

Like those signs we get that advertise when the 'Clairvoyant Expo' is being held and where. Why?

Waaaay too many zings in that one.

GWS did so well! Great weekend matches C'arn the Crows! I'd barrack for Power if they were playing.

We were burgled in the lead up to to Christmas a fair few years ago and all the thieves took was the VHS recorder (in the days when people had them). Neither I nor Mr L_t_L realised we'd been broken into for quite a few hours. Why? Well the video didn't actually work and each of us thought the other had taken in to be repaired. We kept expecting to come home and find the recorder left on the front door step! :)
I can send you my old one if you need!:)

Thank you for your kind offer but will pass on it. :) We have ditched the DVD player/recorder as well - don't need it anymore with these new fangled smart TVs. The only things that sit next to the TV are Apple TV, a removable hard drive and a bluetooth keyboard.

Just home from working at the Local Elections....... Donald Trump received 1 vote.....

This belongs in the weird things you've seen in your travels thread and didn't think existed.

El Al flight from BKK-TLV and check-in is the strangest I have ever seen. Passengers are interviewed before proceeding to check-in. A random lady was taking a photo of a random known couple with the security podiums and check-in counters in background and what appears to be security came around and told them to turn around and take photo with Family Mart in background.

I need another Archa or 2....

This is standard El Al security.

The question of the extent of the authority of El Al security at foreign airports (outside Israel) has been around for a while. While they are free to ask passengers to do (or not do) something, I'm not sure they have any actual authority to stop something (they'd need to call local law enforcement).

El Al pax are a different matter. If they don't comply they don't get to fly.

Those 15 years seem to have gone by so quickly but I remember my youngest son was 9 when it happened.

What a terrible way to leave Thailand last night. Flight delayed enough to receive really bad news last night.

I have just arrived in Hong Kong. Will need to call back in about an hour but apparently mum and daughter are doing ok?

So much for all planning. :(

Oh oh. Best laid plans and all that. Update when you can. But life events like this can't be planned. 9 is pretty close really given all the other issues.

That seems to happen a lot with planning. Hope things go OK. Thinking of you all.

Not good for wife and not good for my health either. Baby has been getting more and more active the past few days.

I called medical center and wife in recovery and daughter in nursery. Wife was alone which was worse part. A day earlier and I could have been there but that's my rotten luck my whole life. Why change now?

Lecture. JohnK. 'Stuff' happens to good people and bad people because it can. There is no such thing as bad luck.

Now, onto the good things. We need details. Name? Weight? Length? In the old terms not the new fangled metric stuff.
