See you spoke too soon. Never ever comment that weather has been good or car is running well. You just know what will happen..... and today we have it all.

Why is it you see patterns in computer data but not in scientific data and measurements?
Ive never paid an airline's voluntary carbon offset. Anyone paid it?
Her mother lived to the age of 101.
Suitable for who? I'm a cheapskate that struggles to get to 3 digits for $ spend. That's what the internet is for. Twenty minutes looking at Amazon or eBay should yield something suitable. Or Tiffany.com. She deserves a push present too.
Ouch.
Caught on the horns of a dilemma.

Lizzie is 90 now so it is amazing that she still does a lot of functions. A real Brit trooper.

And what's a push present?
Pathetic, but that does seem to happen semi frequently.
AusPost have some subbies who do the same. Entire load is dropped at the post office with cards delivered to each address.
It annoys me so much when I specifically give permission to leave a parcel and then come how to have a card.Fortunately my Aus Post guy knows I wont tolerate that. Though he didnt drop off things authorised for "safe drop" today despite their being somewhere safe to leave them. At least the post office is close and I was going there anyway.
Ouch.
The carpet tradie did that to me. Was supposed to get a call the night before for an inspection. No phone call so presumed nothing was going to happen until it came. Received a phone call about 45 minutes before I needed to take sick cat to vet. He was up north and I said that wouldn't work as he would arrive while I was out. So come back at 12.30pm. 40 minutes later - knock on door -"I made it" he said. Yes, ok make it quick as I'm leaving in 5 minutes. So did his thing as I packed cat up. Then said he needed to set up his equipment and he would lock up the house. Seriously. So booted him out and he came back around 4pm. It was his equipment that malfunctioned and now they have to replace two rooms of carpet. Sigh.
Might be more suited to the humour thread but,For the poor bull? Absolutely.
For the matador, who cares? He deserves worse than he's getting.
I hope you get to choose the new carpet at least!
And how is cat after his weekend of no alcohol?
