Well, if that doesn't sound like an excuse, I don't know what is!! (I LOVE champagne)

Well am now in the ORD Hilton and having checked in for my flights to GEG in 8.5 hours I was very relieved to see that once again I have TSA Pre on my BPs.

Don't know how or why but I certainly enjoying going through the security barriers without removing the laptop, LAG bag and not having to take off my shoes. Almost civilised.

JohnK, I think you would be better if you just stopped counting?
And miss all the fun? ;) And another delay yesterday makes 9 in a row. You couldn't possibly script this if you tried.

SQ to the rescue tomorrow from BKK-SIN by getting in early but then hopefully a delay SIN-KUL to give enough time to have a chance to be guested into SQ F lounge.

Heard an awful travel story from a business colleague.

They had been to the USA and purchased many items plus the extra suitcase to fit them all in.

Placed all the bags of shopping into the new suitcase and came back to Australia. Going through Customs she was approached by several officials and had her rights read to her. Then the cameras for Border Patrol swooped in and she told them not to film her (she is an Exec in a company). She was moved to another room and the sniffer dogs were going ape over her bags when she opened the new suitcase. At this point she thought Schapelle was right! They searched the bag and one of the paper shopping bags tested positive for cocaine as did the tissue paper in which it was wrapped.

Eventually she was released. Morale of the story? Well, other than not shopping - what can you do?

Man flu home remedy from my chiropractor who has a medical degree before changing his career. (I don't think this is has any medical grounds, just find it interesting that he changed careers)

One shot apple cidar vinegar, teaspoon of honey and squeeze of lemon. Stir and drink quickly.

I wasnt going to bother but at the counter of fruit shop had apple cidar vinegar so I figured it was meant to be.

Hubby strangely likes it, it a horrible way.

He got it wrong.Instead of the apple cider vinegar the correct ingredient is rum.
so even if it doesn't work you don't give a damn.

A Russian friend of mine here in NKG recently gave me the Russian version with vodka and warm milk, served in a large coffee mug.
It cleared the synuses pretty quickly but otherwise didn't help the symptoms much - but I couldn't have cared less!
He's a doctor as well, but of the Russian rocket scientist variety whose speciality is designing solid-fuel rocket booster engines...seems he's quite good at it!

I buy a lot of stuff in the USA. Have had to buy a new case to put it in more than once ! I make sure I take it out of any packaging, take off the swing tags/price label, throw away the plastic /paper bag it came in - all of this just adds to the weight of the suitcase !! I keep any dockets/receipts in my carry on.

That sounds like a plan. If/when the sales person touched the item at least you could prove the story.

So who watched the Cox Plate? We knew Winx was a champion but OMG did she race into legend status today. What a pleasure to watch!

For those that are unfamiliar whilst the Melb Cup is the race that stops a nation - it is still a handicap race - the Cox Plate at weight for age is the 'heavyweight c/ship' of Australasian racing each year - the best horse in the land each year always salutes the judge in Cox Plate if they stay upright.

Do Postie's actually collect mail from postboxes after 6pm on a Friday of the council elections?
