Australia rolled South Africa for 242 and you'd think they've just claimed the best team in history honour when they were 0-100+.

Well, well, well. Australia rolled for 244 without Steyn. "Som nam na"....

Ah. Nasty. Always think its foolish to celebrate the first innings dismissal when you haven't batted yet. Gotta love Karma.

Another thing. Annoys me the way we whinge when the sub continent prepares wickets that take spin. But for the last few days we've been hearing how the curators have been preparing a track that's fast just like the Aussies want.

If that's for me Steady you've brought a smile to my face.

Week over but still busy. Canterbury Leagues tonight, pram, cot and car seat shopping tomorrow, and Canterbury Leagues tomorrow evening to take dad to dinner (shop small ;)), Sydney casino tomorrow night, Hurstville golf club Sunday and best of all daughter and wife out of hospital and checked into hotel.

Life can't get much better. 18 November the big day.

You did cross my mind when I saw it JohnK, an example of the cup being half full.

I'm glad you took it as intended, and smiled ;) have a great weekend

Sounds like our opposition a couple weeks ago who thought they had the game won when they rolled us for 97. We won by 14 runs.

Was on the B4405 the other day, I got out my camera to take some photos of the mirror like lake and a young guy came out of the nearest hotel/cafe and asked if I knew when the planes flew over, just becasue I had a camera in my hand! Didn't see any this time but the area is worth visiting just for the views.

I must be getting old, it was only when we got to Tywyn on the coast that I realised that I had driven up that road several years ago, albeit in the other direction. On that occassion I did see a plane, but didn't know it was a regular event, so this is from last visit. I'll post some of the lake when I get them over to this pc.

Not sure it's a "secret", but am sure it's been that way for decades. I was wandering around touring the Ffestiniog and Talyllyn railways :) in my early 20's in 1988, and remember a pair of A10's scaring the living daylights out of me as they weaved thru the valley. Later the same week it was Jaguars. Great stuff!

I've decided that there is a guy in my street who is training for Kokoda as he's too old for a army recruit and he's decked out in full pack, hydration thingy and boots, hiking up and down my street (a hill) and the two huge hills up the road.

I've seen him about a dozen times in the past few weeks, he's on a mission.

Hmm or a psych case

Actually definitely a psych case as its a Sunday read the sunday tele day

Pysch case would be my adorable father in law that has olive trees planted throughout the neighborhood and we had to stop him from harvesting the one near the primary school with his bucket and machete.

I'm sure we're the crazy family in the street.I
