Jetstar is so damn sneaky when making a booking by sneaking in things you don't want and had declined earlier. Like luggage. HLO for me so selected basic fare. Next fare up did have free luggage but stuck with basic HLO fare. Continue. Next page - they add luggage 'for my convenience' along with $35 additional cost. Sheesh. Had to go back a page to remove it.

Why Jet*? Coz Qantas want $480 for a one way flight ADL - MEL on Thursday am. Damn Tennis.

Great place to come for a visit at the moment :D. You also have the start of the Conference season (that's why I'm here) and the last week of school holidays. You should have tried to book a hotel room

We've ended up at a Best Western in donga somewhere! Just 1 night. Crazy prices wanted in the CBD.

January Tennis in Melbourne will do that ... not so sure about conferences ... they tend to be after Oz day though Feb to march (taking advantage of low occupance during that period).

Except for finance types who don't think of the finance part.:p:p;)

Best Western described as a donga - I like it :)
We're in Melb for a few days the week after the 26th - a Luxury Escapes deal at the Grand Hyatt. Airfares were dearer than they have been though - $186pp each way (RedE). Virgin about the same and not doing Tiger.

Never thought about luxury escapes deals for Melbourne. Hmmm.

Dame - did you see Celebrity new idea of having people exit cabins at 7am then having everyone jam up lifts and stairs and corridors because everyone then pretty much departs their cabin at the same time to get to the buffet/departure areas?

7am is so damn early meaning up at 6am to finish off shower yada yada. Modern luxury?

[Boast] Can I just say that there are currently 20 peaches hiding under this 40cm high miniature peach tree on my deck? :) Down from 35, as I have been thinning them out as they grow. I reckon I'll get 15 by maturity. [/Boast]

Is this the first year? I recall 'someone on TV' saying you really need to remove a lot of fruit in the first year. Maybe google?

Many negotiated rates are tied to a room type, irrespective of hotel occupancy.

Therefore a base room costs the same in low and high occupancy periods, hence partially insulating corporates and government from price fluctuations across the year.

That said, if a base room is not available for booking, they may need to pay for a superiour / deluxe / club room.

Second year - last year I got 6 full sized lovely peaches. This year I'm thinning them out when they grow against one another but am otherwise trying for the max, to see how many/how big.

Every minute is one minute less. Every hour is one hour less. Why do I keep looking at the time?

I think I am getting sick :( :(

This is me at work, when someone sniffles
