Hopefully agent is now sorted BC. And that it is short and sharp marketing with the auction before the end of February rather than dragging out too long. It's the keeping the house permanently tidy and ready for inspection that becomes very wearing.
 
Estate agent has come back and said the house photos look cluttered! :shock: I have no idea how given the photographer removed anything that wasnt bolted down.... Mum has reminded the agent that its a home that people actually live in, not a display home.
Finger is starting to deflate post being squashed in the gate but still quite sore. Can't fully bend it yet.

If he's worth anywhere near his salt he can deal with it or use Photoshop, otherwise he can go jump.

One doesn't normally associate photographers with a hostile personality.....
 
Slow to sell maybe? Price asked versus offers?
Offers have been rolling in, including from someone from overseas. Hopefully one is accepted before we get to auction.

She had no people skills whatsoever. And thinking its ok to throw someone's belongings on the floor? No way she's coming back in my house.

Wow, hope that your mother decides to accept one, bird in the hand etc and it would make it a lot easier for you.

She had no people skills whatsoever. And thinking its ok to throw someone's belongings on the floor? No way she's coming back in my house.
We had an agent like that once. She was a right dud. After the minimum contracted time we ditched her, thinking we would wait a while before going back on the market but as it was we ended up signing with an excellent guy who happened to be visiting in the area. Sold in a week.

Photos came through. Some look decent, others not so much. She took the towels out of the bathroom so its completely washed out, and the bare towel rail looks odd. The bedroom shot also isnt the best. If it had been taken from the doorway it wouldve looked a lot better... :-|

I thought that towels in a bathroom were sort of de rigueur and would give the photos a bit of colour. We had deep red towels and ivory hand towels (I bought new ones). Thought they looked OK. The photographer for the second agent was much better than the first one.

Me too! We have some lovely bright towels that would've looked great against the pale green walls and white tiles.

The photo wasn't as good as I thought but the red was good though the face washer was the same colour as the towel even though it didn't look it (and in the main bedroom there was a red mohair rug to keep the colour going)

Well, one does expect to see towels in a bathroom, otherwise it tends to look under dressed (is that real-estate speak).
 
Um DOW just hit 20k..... Well that got to be worth a mention..... Any one else just make some serious money?
