Interesting that with Australia Day holiday in 2017 falling on a Thursday it affords so many the opportunity to enjoy the ultimate Australian experience of making a 4 day long weekend. We only have 4 in our team and just happens I will be on my lonesome at work tomorrow. I wonder what I am doing wrong?

I did some work today! Have to catch up with a lot of school planning work.

Tomorrow is a regular school day; I wouldn't think any student would dare "chuck a sickie" just to have a full four day weekend, let alone their parents.

Queensland is the only state where the students are back by the look of it - most places kids start next week sometime.

Largely managed to avoid work emails until later today and then the barrage started mid afternoon from overseas as I have a project team landing here in just over a week and there is a bit to be done...

Just got home from the gym and very little traffic on the roads... A bit like traffic between Xmas and NY
