I worked a full week across three cities. Including 26th and 27th. Only just got home (18:45 local)... and that's early, but I will probably be late for dinner tonight.

Now JT go and have your favourite pick me up before taking note of this post.

Today is the 19th anniversary of this speech-

I am not concerned about ducking into my emails when on holiday. Generally my people know I'm away and who to contact and anything that does come through, I can generally answer quickly vs them having to wait for someone else to understand my specialised areas, work out the answer and respond!

A few times now I've used the flight from SIN - SYD to clear out my inbox so when I arrive back in the office, my inbox is simply the things I need to action and it's a whole lot less stressful!

While I don't mind a public holiday, reality is I still have the same amount of work to do in the week - I just have 4 days in which to do it and not 5, hence drafting a document for several hours tonight.

Im sickened that people think this is OK, because they think Trump makes it OK.

Prosecutors in New York said a traveler has been charged with hate crimes for attacking a Muslim airline employee at John F. Kennedy International Airport, telling her President Trump “will get rid of all of you.”
The Queens District Attorney’s Office said in a statement Thursday that 57-year-old Robin Rhodes, of Worcester, Mass., physically and verbally assaulted a Delta employee, who was wearing a hijab, Wednesday evening in the airport’s Delta Sky Lounge. Prosecutors said he began shouting profanities at the woman, ranting about Islam and the Islamic State — then kicked her and kept her from getting away.
“Trump is here now,” he said, according to prosecutors. “He will get rid of all of you. You can ask Germany, Belgium and France about these kind of people. You will see what happens.”

Crazy people will latch on to anything. They have been charged with a hate crime and which confirms that such behaviour is not acceptable.

And hopefully will get more than a slap on the wrist with the excuse that they were exercising their democratic right to free speech.

Or wasn't given a teddy bear during childhood etc etc.

The Free Speech issue is rather difficult to grapple with and when does it cross 'the line'. That seems to be drawn in shifting sands.

Another great actor gone. Sir John Hurt dead at 77

Respected British actor John Hurt has died aged 77, after battles with cancer and other health issues. His most recent role was a priest in the Oscar-nominated film Jackie, about the widow of President John F. Kennedy. In 2015, he was knighted for his services to drama.
