I also had a little bit of fun explaining to New Zealand immigration when I was heading to Waimarama Do on the tail of my European trip; there is a question on the incoming immigration card that says, "List all the countries you have visited in the last 30 days".

I had fun with a similar question on the US immigration form in MIA - fortunately the questioning was brief, but they wanted to know why I'd been to all the places I'd been. I wonder what the reaction would have been if I had said "collecting miles"...

Today went to the Jurong Bird Park; it's in Singapore so no new passport stamp today.

What did you think of the bird park? I have to say I enjoyed it and would have liked to spend more time there.

Don't you love inconsiderate neighbours. Ones upstairs last night had the stereo cranked to 11 well past midnight, they couldn't even hear loud knocks at the door so they could be politely asked to turn it down.

And at 5am in the morning, some people a block up the street making all kinds of ruckus with their windows open and stereo also cranked up putting out house music.

'Tis hot here back in your home town (city?), but the occasional breeze does help with putting up with the humidity.

Part of the Asian culture and experience of it is eating hot food even when it is hot outside, i.e. temperature-hot and spicy-hot food, hot and humid outside....sometimes you see yourself sweating and dripping over the food....

Good luck on your upgrade, even though (I'm guessing) it'll be Skyslopes if it's successful.

Just being outside any day in Singapore has my sweat glands working overtime.
