My salt and pepper squid sitting on counter when I walked out. Waited ~20 minutes and no one bothered to bring to me. First lounge nowhere near capacity. Very poor.

How did you know it was yours and not somebody else's (given it is a popular dish)?

Voting is such fun but only if you get great pleasure putting someone last like I do....

Just the lazy 48 candidates below the line for me. Went through them earlier today. Oddly enough once I planned my list Family First weren't even in the bottom 10. Some real garbage in this lot.

cove, your Hamilton tickets were a good price. I'm back in NYC in May, can I just turn up to the Marriott Marquis tkt office to buy a ticket? Also, haven't yet seen BoMorman.

Last NYC visit we saw Hamilton, Billy Joel and School Of Rock. We used the Marriott Marquis ticket office and 2 great tickets to Hamilton totalled about $480 USD. The queue to get into the show was right outside the hotel door.
Suggest you look up what is on at Madison Square Garden when you are there.
We want to see Waitress the Musical.

I would allow a day between purchase and show. It worked really well as that office is probably dealing with resales from what we call scalpers in Australia.
Yes we have seen Book of Mormon.
You don't have to stay at the Marriott Marquis but it is a great location. We had a wonderful view of Times Square from our room which I booked on Cit Prestige for the free night for a 4 night stay. It was $1,600 AUD for 4 nights and we score a very big room. We were delighted.

When my Bro went to the USA last year I got him tickets for the Daily Show and Nightly Show. Didn't go to either.

Looked up tickets for Colbert and Seth Meyers, but these shows require months in advance to book.

How is that hospital building in Adelaide going? Will it need a bit more of WA's GST to finish it within the next decade?

Shhhhhhhh! Fiona Stanley is going to need millions to get the lead water pipes out before it's safe to be admitted into (how do we sign contracts so p*ss weak, really?)

Oh for the one that got away today. 2 under on front nine with 2 birdies and a few makeable ones missed followed by 4 doubles and 2 pars on the back.

Oh how the mind can deceive.

Oh JohnK! I was just about to post suggesting we stop with the political discussion and you go and post about golf (I assume, otherwise you are into some really weird stuff ).

I am not sure what I should suggest we stop discussing first? ;)

I'm not sure that golf is 'discussed', just JohnK posts his achievements.

Exactly six weeks until our trip to Japan, and I think I've just convinced the wife on a jaunt to Melbourne in July as well as maybe an Asian getaway in October for our anniversary. Just have to find the money/points.

I can understand all the other states whinging about the GST allocation to SA. And we are still mired in debt. Increasing unemployment. No power solution. But the most expensive hospital in the world. That isn't operating yet.

I remember when everyone was complaining about having to catch a bus for a year while the Seaford rail line was electrified. Nobody complains any more! It is now so much better.

I'm sure that we will all eventually appreciate having one of the best hospitals in the world, even if it is the most expensive.

Golf wasn't the point of the discussion. I was referring to how the state of mind can alter without outside interference. Sad. Maybe I should have posted in the medical issues thread. Oh so close to perfection but fell short again.

Political discussions are a waste of time. Wish there was a way to avoid them. They definitely don't belong on any thread on AFF.
