And I am very very jealous GarretM even though I am off in a few days. Just enjoy Japan so much (and we do have bookings for the end of this year but that's beside the point :)). Can't wait to read your TR.

How about a QE cruise Yokohama to Vancouver in May 2019?

Ok. So daylight saving finished today. Usually I'm all over that. But twice today I've started doing things way ahead of time. Started cooking dinner at 4pm. Brain fade.

Chunky beef minestrone for dinner was a big success, must make a point to use the slow-cooker more this winter. Especially with hubby not working, I can leave it on while I'm at work and he's home.

He could do the cooking...

You are a very very bad woman who tries to lead me astray :)

When the cuts come Victoria will notice it. This past decade WA paid over 39 billion to the rest of Australia and Victoria received the biggest amount. Our share in WAs GST is 34.4% this year.
Shut down the power station, the smelter and the car manufacturing...you will notice this some time in the future.
Lucky you have some sports tourism.

Well the Sydney dominated Federal government virtually did shutdown the car industry in VIC ad SA.

I do most of the cooking especially when the boss is at work, I'm a one pot wonder. I'll admit that she is probably a better cook than me, but I get bored, so out comes the pans....

So nice to hear and see Lao people enjoying a warm Sunday afternoon with a few beers and seemingly no agro and only laughter. Although I can't say that I'm sorry the karaoke seems to have ended for now.

I run ours when no one is home without any issues (and our house had the coughpiest of ancient wiring).

Hahaha. You're funny!

Only been married almost 18 years and only seen him boil water a couple of times.

It's been cold and raining on and off today, soup was good
Mr FM did all the cooking for roughly 25 years. The kids used to shudder if I said I was going to make something (apart from cakes), as I burnt everything. This might have been because I was trying to juggle cooking with doing accounts for the business..... I have only started cooking again, since getting my Thermomix 2 years ago.

His SE Asian cooking was particularly good.

Clocked up 29 years (and counting) of couple/marriage, I'd cook around 80% of B'fast and dinners .... I also pack a pretty good lunch :D

Our cooking rule is - first home starts to cook. (gee I do a lot of overtime.....)

Thursdays and Sunday evenings seem to fall on my broad shoulders for getting a meal organized so we tend to eat out both nights. Mrscove works on Thursdays and Sunday I think is a good night to go out.
I really should have spent some time in the kitchen over the years but it never happened.
Recently I saw where a nephew had done a barbecue course and that got me thinking for a minute or two.
My new Big Dogs Tee shirt covers my story.....I put the Pro in Procrastinate.

My husband says that I kicked him out of the kitchen 20 years ago and that's where he's staying.

Truth be told, I don't want him messing with my stuff, like knives and pans.

When we KDR in a couple of years, I'm going to get one of those kamodo bbq smoker things for ribs and slabs of meat.

No internet, day #3.5.

Hubby phoned iinet Friday, who gave him a tech number to phone... but they only work Mon to Fri. Phone Tech, who said "Why are you calling us? Not our problem".

*sigh*

Why am I not at all surprised.
