We recently had a 37 minute connection in SEA, which also required terminal change and somehow made it easily even with a late arrival. Sometimes you can be amazed!

We'll have a truckload of luggage.... kinda hoping it will be the same aircraft for both sectors!

Back home and the Cruiseco magazine was waiting.Later this year a UK rock cruise with some of those I followed in the 60s.Suzie Quatro, the Troggs, the Animals and Manfred man.
I must have taken note of this song as I do nearly everything she wants me to-

How about this trio...

I can send you my recipe for brussel sprouts with bacon, pine nuts and parmesan - beautiful

Yes please! :).

One of my favourite ways to do brussels (nb. note the 's' on the end ;)) sprouts is halved, steamed/microwaved, then toss around with some butter and sprinkle with nutmeg . The best brussels sprouts are the smaller ones.

Ive got the slow cooker on, Mongolian beef with carrots and broccoli. Was suppose to make it yesterday but it didnt happen.

The connection to the screen seems to be failing; it flickers white if you open the screen more than a few cm. Laptop is coming up to two years old in June buy Id expect a decent product (Toshiba) to last much longer than that. Will contact Toshiba on Tuesday to see what they say and take it from there. It went from working perfectly to not working between putting it down and picking it back up again.

My first Toshiba developed a similar fault when it was about 4 years old. I found that by opening and closing the screen several times I could get it to stay on. Junked it after that. I've had 2 more Toshibas since then and believe they are quality products.

IIRC I could attach a monitor and use that as the screen - useful as an at home emergency fix, but a bit clunky to carry around.

The one I'm using now is almost 5 years old but I love it as it is a very light and still quick ultrabook, however the battery life is now getting shorter and shorter so needs replacing. Its internal but not a difficult job - just have to get 'a round tuit'. Have looked at Toshiba replacement but the price seems to have escalated.

Broccoli is far better eaten raw. Better nutrition. Consider them as miniature trees.

Silver beet with chilis minature tomatoes onions... :-)

The green grocer can keep the brussel sprouts, but then again that's what I thought about the SB...

Happy wandering

And here you go JohnM - will try your recipe at some stage but probably after I've fasted for a week after what I've eaten in the past few days

And which is completely unreadable I think.

Think Escargot. Fois Gras. Lobster. Beef Wellington. Duck a l'orange. Bombe Alaska.

What's a Wollies?

The stuff that was being otherwise offered was so you could present options to your parents when they get old enough to need them...

Just wandering

Small clean up yesterday, found 8 brand new raincoats/jackets that will be donated.

Also found the two raincoats that have been around the world at least twice and many times in between, still never worn. We joke that these are our holiday anti bad weather charms because the only time I've not packed them, it rained.

Ditto, always pack the disposable rain ponchos. Have never needed them.
