I often chill red wine - tastes better

Don't understand why there must be rules. Its a beverage! Drink it any way you want.
The "experts" don't agree. No different to those who think spirits shouldn't be drunk with mixers.

I love ice in my beer. Firstly it is icy cold. Secondly it waters the beer down to ensure I have enough fluids and not dehydrate.

Does China Air use the Qantas Club lounge in Adelaide?

Whats China air?

China Airlines - Sky Team
Air China - Star alliance

China Eastern is a QF partner airline but its not a oneworld member so any QC lounge access would be via an agreement between QF and MU if flight number is MU

Assuming MU operated / QF flight number for the international flight, access to ADL int lounge:
If you are J or F and QF flight number
If QC and QF Flight number
If FF member SG and above then need QF or one world marketed and operated. So this excludes MU operated QF marketed flights.

The wording of the last bit been a bone of contention in other pages of AFF

TonyHancock would have a firm view on spirits

I drink beer from a bottle so can't put ice into it. I have thought about adding ice to beer but that would mean decanting into glass first then add ice. If I get it at a pub Im shortchanging myself with less beer to fit volume of ice into schooner glass and Id probably get ejected depending on the pub.
Separately what does that do to the head?

26 April: tried to cancel order because of non shipment at agreed timeframes - said I could only get store order. But wait "stock has arrived and will be shipped 27th"

Another store in Sydney has stock
Should I get a chargeback?
Victorian consumer law says can only get store credit if customer changes mind - store says Im changing my mind. I say Im not but want to cancel due to several promises of delivery which did not happen

What should I do if shipment does not occur today.

If you can't get a tracking number for shipment sent today (and one that is live in a system), then just initiate a chargeback. The store is in violation of Consumer law with respect to misleading and deceptive conduct. They have represented that they have stock and will ship twice (once for will ship before Easter, but won't come until later, again after, will be shipped Monday), and if it isn't shipped now, that makes 3 times.

Having asked them for a refund, which they have refused, their interpretation of whether you are changing your mind or not won't matter - just get the CC issuer to charge back for non-delivery.

That's the one.

The flight, from La Paz to Cobija in Northern Bolivia, was operated by LABas a charter on behalf of the Bolivian military owned civil airline TAM(Transportes Aereos Militares).

A LAB source says the accident was caused “almost for sure because of fuel starvation”. The source says the aircraft “ran out of fuel” after thunderstorms prevented the aircraft from landing at Cobija as well as its official alternate, Rio Branco in Brazil, which was also suffering unsafe weather conditions.

Was this the charter with soccer players and something about time being wasted on the tarmac to look for a video game? Vaguely recall seeing this on one of those aircraft investigation type show.

There's a place in SF that has "The kitchen sink" ice-cream, it's huge.

You can also eat the entire thing to get it for free but no thanks, I enjoy food. Shoving it down, trying not to vomit isn't enjoyable.

Is that the Ghirardelli Chocolate? We stayed at the Fairmonth Ghirardelli and the kids stuffed themselves there every night.

No it isn't the La Mia crash that the Chapecoense team was involved with.

I know what it feels like to not pay your creditors, happens a bit of the time so used to the emails and the few phone calls.

I am wondering what happens when you don't pay your staff.

Asking for a friend.:rolleyes::confused:

So tenants in Victoria pay for their own water?

Can't believe it's the 3 month inspection already. Think I've stayed here maybe 2 weeks tops? MrP is more likely to be in residence.

Have you been paying their Super and ATO PAYG?

I would suggest that the staff get on to their union PDQ.

If its a union workplace. A lot of workplaces these days are independent workplace agreements or follow basic Fairwork awards. Ive never been a member of a union, my husband ceased being a member about 8yrs ago.

What does ice in beer do to the head? Wouldn't watering down beer be a good thing overall?

I thought they were only responsible for any excess water costs.
Wow three months has sure gone quickly.

Flew over for the day. Inspection took all of 3 minutes. Did stock up the Vodka and wine though. We'll extend it to 12 months. We are in the Baltics when it will be 6 months!

Not sure about the head but watering down a liquid will change the flavour, and not always for the better. The flavour is made up of a combination of elements, like sugar, yeast etc, and changing the proportions will alter the end product's flavour. So adding ice cubes will have an effect on the flavour of the beer, wine or whatever. The people Pushka referred to added at least the same volume of ice cubes as the wine in the glass. Though this had the advantage I suppose that they were able to knock of several bottles each night (though on second thoughts based on the ship's mark up on wine perhaps not such an advantage). :)

If it's separately metered.

s.52 of the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 applies. No lease can change the Act.

52 Tenant's liability for various utility charges
A tenant is liable for—
...
(b) the cost of all water supplied to the rented premises during the tenant's occupancy if the cost is based solely on the amount of water supplied and the premises are separately metered;
(c) that part of the charge that is based on the amount of water supplied to the premises during the tenant's occupation if the cost of water supplied is only partly based on the amount of water supplied to the premises and the premises are separately metered;
(d) all sewerage disposal charges in respect of separately metered rented premises imposed during the tenant's occupation of the rented premises by the holder of a water and sewerage licence issued under Division 1 of Part 2 of the Water Industry Act 1994;

s.53 basically says the landlord must pay if it's not separately metered.
