Now you're scaring me - I'm going in September and haven't booked a thing and don't want to - may have to reconsider

It was only one B&B, due to a wedding, but it meant I had to make a small change in stay dates. I also made a booking with another B&B as I noticed they already had April & May 2018 bookings on their calendar.

The main hotel chains for Glasgow, Edinburgh and Loch Lomond Im not rushing to book yet but a Scottish friend at work tells me that when we're going its school holidays.

Im jinxed for always picking trips during holidays! Cambodia, we ended up going during their New Year. Japan, picked their Golden Week - you would think that I would check international calendars by now!

Signed up to Flickr (because Photobucket committed corporate suicide) but cant figure out how to put photos in forum threads.

Guess lots of googling and youtube tonight to figure it out.

Edit: figured out how to do it on a laptop but no idea how to link photos on my phone - cant find the bbcode.

oh, yes ...

A professional IT dude needs to be proficient in Goggle these days - its in how to word a query for an efficient and effective search.

Did you mean: google I guess you need to be able to spell what you are looking for.

I started university studying computer science but knew it wasn't for me.

We joined the QLD National Trust and accepted at a lot of UK properties including their National Trust.

Yes I considered that, and there's RACQ and RACV discounts. One can actually join the NT of Zimbabwe for US$15 and get full reciprocal benefits in UK but I decided that I actually wanted to support the National Trust (as well as getting the free parking permit) so the Scottish NT was fine for us. Cost approx half of the English NT so fares fare.:) Used it extensively in England and Wales.

I noticed my mother in law, mid 80s, wandering the yard with a small blanket wrapped around her, so I bought her a wool wrap to help keep her warm.

She liked it, put it on, said very nice... then wrapped her blanket over it.

There seems to be an over-representation of computer-speak people on AFF!

Hell I wonder how I did my job before Google!

Obviously Wikipedia is not my reference source but I draw a good chunk of what I need from judicious use of Google searches.

Not long finished one for stamp duty on real property transactions in PNG - how else would I know!

Hubby is going to fall to SC next year and my question to Velocity was, can he gift himself his WP companion? Answer is no, he cant.

One of the sales guys overhead me explaining it to my husband and he offered $200 to gift him WP!

Yep, when I was working it was far easier to put an error code in google and get a result, than to look it up in an IBM manual.
