I go to youtube for the "how does this work" stuff.

Bought a new Dyson and had to put a few pieces together, thankfully a lovely European (Swiss?) had little life who filmed it and put it on youtube for me :)

Same with my phone when I was trying to figure out how to put the sim card in - youtube.

I used youtube on a recent trip to the US, how do you do that.

I purchased some replacement ear buds from China, wasn't sure how you were meant to put them together, youtube to the rescue again.

Im currently trying to figure out how to use Flickr to post photos to a forum via my phone and youtube/google havent helped me yet.

Apparently a well known issue so I have to delve into it more, maybe a bbccode generator or similar?

I know when I phone our IT guys, while Im explaining the issue, I can hear them typing so I figured they are on their geek forum, typing in the error message to fix.

Roly Sussex on ABC with KHD yesterday finished his show about language with this brilliant poem.

I was on the bus to town.
On the seat in front of me
two women were chatting in Punjabi,
and the guy sitting next to me says:
“If you come to this country
you should learn to speak the language.”

Only if talking about my husband. Hes we'll known for buying Tshirts wherever he goes. His record is about 50 shirts and rugby jerseys on one trip.

He says he's, "charting his emotional growth through Tshirts". Use to be bands and music, then Scuba, now travel and rugby.

Last trip was about 30 Tshirts and a Rapi Nui rugby jersey from Easter Island.

Yikes, I'm starting to sound more and more like your husband! I must have hundreds of Tshirts... :(

I bought a new car a few years ago and was handed the keys and they opened the showroom doors for me to drive off. I don't think they were expecting me to sit there for 60+ minutes reading the manual before I even put the key in the ignition. :)

Opposite to me, I noticed a new symbol on the dash today, thought best look it up in the manual to see what that is. I doubt it's anything major, lane positioning or something like that, at a guess.

My husband would say,"Pfft, amateur" and encourage you to buy more! Hes got hundreds and hundreds stored in boxes, unworn but every 4-6mths, he will use a heap to clean/throw out and bring out some new ones.

Hes currently wearing May 2012 Kentucky Bourbon Trail shirt from Woodford. Which is why we did the Kentucky trail, visit 6 distilleries and you get a free tshirt.

I'm currently wearing a "Midnattssols Rallyt 2014" Tshirt, but you can't see it as I have several layers over it as it's cold..........

'Midnight Sun Rally'

I saw my mother in law wandering around the yard on the weekend in a circa 1983 Live at Red Rocks U2 tshirt.

Spiderman of course. All ties into the Marvel Universe. Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange etc

I always think that Guardian of the Galaxy is a rip off from Farscape. Lost human in space (Critchon), makes new family with a bunch of misfits. Best friend (Dargo), love interest (Aeryn), major attachment to ship (Moya). Could Rocket be Rygel?

Hubby says Spiderman so I just bought tickets :)

Apparently people have noticed the parallels since the first GoT.

Quill/Chricton - Only human. Taken from Earth suddenly and unexpectedly. Mother died of cancer which is a burden he still bares. Has audio device as only connection back to Earth. Source of constant pop-culture references that are not understood by his companions. Is the "heart" of the group that unites them together. Has plans dismissed by the others around him. Rogue with a heart of gold. Is in possession of a great weapon but only uses it at the last moment. Inept but lovable.
Gamora/Aeryn - Member of the group hunting Quill/Chricton but ultimately turns against. Soldier born and bred. Tries not to let her guard down but is ultimately emotionally disarmed by Quill/Chricton. Forced into battle against her relative who is still working for the group hunting Quill/Chricton and is derided as being weak by that relative.
Drax/D'Argo - Seeks revenge against the group hunting Quill/Chricton for the murder of his wife and loss of his daughter/son. Prone to fits of rage and has a tendency to take things literally. A fan of body art.
Groot/Zhaan - Plant based. Mostly serene by capable of surprising amounts of violence. Unique body chemistry miraculously produces solutions to problems presented by the crew. Sacrifices self to save the crew, though capable of being resurrected if placed in dirt.
Rocket/Rigel - Practical and self-serving. Is motivated primarily by money and survival. Is not intimidated by others larger than him. Despite this exterior, secretly feels for his companions and does the right thing in the end.
Ronan/Scorpius - Singular being of immense strength. Bears deep, racial hatred toward a people and single-mindedly seeks their annihilation, despite attempts at peace.
Overall - Group of prisoners unexpectedly thrust together during an attempt at escape. Despite their differences, different goals, and mutual distrust, they come to care for one another and band together against a common foe to prevent galactic domination.
