I'm surprised that it would take a mere petition or a collective noise complaint to put the smack down on this new "rowdy" neighbour, yet you have situations of tenants from hell or owners who are profane to the wazoo, dig up holes all over their yard, rubbish strewn all over, broken down cars all over the lawn etc. ad nauseum.... and no matter how many people find this objectionable, everyone including the council can't do jack about it (or in the case of the council, won't do...)

Yes, I'm talking about all of those ones on ACA etc...

My council requires 1 complaint to contact Tennant to tell them of complaint and further action my be taken or investigated if other complaint received.

If 3 independent complaints are received, instant investigation.

Co worker got this over car noise (hot rod performance cars), eventually they couldn't use a vacuum cleaner after 8pm because neighbour successfully complained.

We had Mr. Important from Adelaide behind us at happy hour tonight.Heck he flew in to Bangkok yesterday and had a woman take him out for shopping all day today but he was upset because colleague John had not been told of Monday's program when he met him at Adelaide airport.Mr.Important had been told but why hadn't they emailed John.I will look up his contact details tomorrow so you can contact him.Mr. Important has better things to do than letting a colleague know what is happening. He is an Educator.

A bit of a shock when you visit one of your parents in hospital. They fainted then fell over and hurt their shoulder, one Drs suggested that a pacemaker will be needed some time in the future. Its a shock to your system when for the first time you realize that your parents are indeed getting old. Also good when you have a family member who is a nurse and so knows a few things and can ask the right questions and give the right answer to the Doctor; I think some people especially old go into shock themselves and then can't answer the Doctor properly.

I hope he/she has a speedy recovery and is home soon.

To be honest, the guys allowed to make noise until midnight on the weekend so they should have waited until then to call the cops but I don't live next door to it either, or have a baby trying to sleep.

One cop across the road, the other inside drum boys house.

I guess I'm going to learn my neighbours names when they come see me with a noise complaint form to sign because drum boys neighbour just announce "we're all going to complain to council to get rid of the f ing drums".

Haven't seen or heard from drum boy.

Well you should know drum boy's name by now, anyway, Denali:

Ringo.

I know that feeling. I also know that you need to keep asking the doctors and medical staff questions and not take anything at face value. I had a fair bit of exposure to the NHS in the UK last year and whilst the medical staff were excellent the administration and co-ordination was nothing short of disastrous.

Good luck hope everything works out.
