I have feet size 9. They always look dreadful in Rivers shoes for some reason - like elephant feet. Just something about the style they make. SIL whose size is 7 always look good. Have often tried shoe styles I've seen on her and never buy them.

For me, most clothing from Rivers is horrid.

Picked the wrong weekend altogether to go take my daughter to see the snow for the first time. Extreme wind warnings closed Donna Buang and on top of that it hit 17°. Snow all gone, we got hail instead. Didn't feel like dealing with the Lake Mountain zoo. Oh well, next year (or a weekend gonzo run if the snow returns)

I wonder why instragram thinks Im either muslim or in Indonesia because every ad I get is based on being one of either of these. Food, clothing, places to visit - every ad. Even getting exotic car ads now. Why yes, I was planning on buying a ferrari in Jakarta.

Strange.

My Instagram took a good week or so to catch up to me being back in AU after time in Dubai.

Went to DFO at Olympic Park today. Don't quite understand the hype.

Although in saying that did find a nice jacket to wear for plane travel for $60 at Rivers. Went to pay and there's a 50% discount on mens jackets so bought another. Wife also bought some boots at Rivers with 50% discount.

We'll visit Brisbane DFO next weekend out of curiosity.

I have lived in Sydney 14 years, am around that way frequently and still I've only been to DFO once.

Birkenhead Point is where I go - albeit infrequently and mainly if I want to go to Kathmandu or Ice Breaker.

I prefer Birkenhead Point but I only got there for Oroton or Diana Ferrari (shoes).

Homebush DFO, I go there to get my Bose ear pieces replaced every couple of years (hair products breaks down the foam ear thingy) and Oroton, Coach and Burberry. Not that I buy from Burberry.

I swear, the most exercise I got all weekend was just now. Stuffing my super king quilt into a standard king quilt cover.

Exhausting.

Lovely winters day in Sydney after the last few days. The 3 days break was good.

I now have a migraine after watching Diana, Our Mother: Her Life And Legacy - I said I wasn't going to watch it and I did. Watched Dianas funeral with a box of tissues and a bottle of wine. This time I added a block of Lindt to the mix - just to make sure the head ached !

I bypassed the program but still have a migraine :( - a 90 min nap post drugs in the late afternoon did help a bit.

I never got Princess Dianna. Always found her to be incredibly needy, a manipulator and she totally played the media and public.

Was that the extra creamy 100gram block or the more healthy 70% dark version?

It was the Crème Brulee block

Probably but then she gave a voice to those people whom many at the time felt were untouchable. Maybe because of her neediness she was extremely compassionate and empathic to those who likewise were incredibly 'needy'. And had the power to do something about it. She adored kids and that 'soft touch' was desperately needed in the Royal Family upbringing.

I was devastated when she was killed.

Yes, the poor girl was thrown into the deep end at the beginning. We met her ( and Charles) when they visited Australia when William was a baby.

I watched the funeral with a box of tissues and a bottle of wine - cried my eyes out !!!

And she did have a pretty hard lot to deal with. It was great to see her fly after the divorce. She proved there could be life after royalty.
