I was with AAMI for about 17 years, had 2 claims and was happy with them but it only takes one bad experience to put you off.

Which is why I was very firm with an employee the other week for fart-coughing around with finishing a car claim because the other party, who was the innocent party, was not getting the help/repairs hes entitled to. As I said to my insurer, we are a consumer based business, last thing I want is people slagging us off when we are in the wrong.

"Four of the original Iron Chefs are cooking together - All four of the original Iron Chefs are reuniting on stage at the Sydney Opera House's Concert Hall on Wedesday 2 August for an epic charity dinner.
Rokusaburo Michiba, Hiroyuki Sakai, Kenichi Chen and Japan’s ‘Prince of Pasta’ Masahiko Kobe will be cooking side by side for the first time since the cult FujiTV program ended in 1997, creating a gastronomical dinner to help raise funds for Opportunity International Australia" from SBS

Now that the tickets are selling half price, why not?

Any suggestions for small business Telcos? 3 landlines + 1300 number + ADSL only - mobiles kept separate? Have been with dodo for >10yrs and they have been fabulous but wheels have fallen off big time last couple months. iiNet and TPG telling me it can take up to 2mths to port 1300 number across! HTF could that be true?

I'm amazed that they can't sell tickets ... Oh hang on, despite Masterchef (et.al) copying Iron Chef to some degree, and Iron Chef being a better challenge overall, it seems that the general public only like MasterChef or MKR celebrities!

Weirdest thing going on with my bank. Updated my address when we moved in April. All bank mail comes to the address except my business visa statement. Next month, still goes to the old address. Call them and they check and definitely only the new address on the system, but they remove and re-add to be sure. Next statement still goes to old address. Call bank and they escalate it. Waiting now to see where this months goes....

A year or so ago my NAB statement went via Germany. Cant remember exactly but I think it had my correct address but country was Germany and not NSW

can you opt for electronic statements only - gets rid of the mail issues.

Should I enquire as to why?

Pregnant lady at work last day and someone thought it would be cute to buy a dozen helium balloons in different sizes and shapes for our afternoon tea for her.

I didnt want her driving home with them floating around the car so put them in the boot... which is easier to say than do.

Helps if you can wrap them in plastic (or a big rubbish bag) first.

Thought of this about 3mins into boot stuffing.

Me to co worker: You know, its easier to get a dead body in the boot of a car than these stupid balloons.
Co worker: Should I be worried that you know these things?

When we first joined the Scottish National Trust, we never received the welcome pack nor cards etc. I had several emails back and forth and they sent a new set which arrived a few weeks later.

Two months later the first pack also arrived after being redirected from New Zealand which had been used as our country instead of Oz.

Mucho kudos for the postal system, especially in NZ, to work it out.:)

Might be worth having a look at someone like MyNetFone?
