Phillip will likely be charged around $2 a litre. Phillip needs to hire a GPS next time.

Aaahhh... but Phillip said he is going to dispute the charge, so...

I can't remember who has the burden of proof on a charge dispute, though even though he should wear the charge, there's a fair chance a charge dispute will succeed.

As for not yelling at the worker, well it helps in this case that the company (at least technically) was not in the wrong. I'm sure there's a fair share of us here who have torn the serving worker a new one because we know that we're correct and they are not. Discounting whether or not yelling will achieve the desired result or not, is it still wrong?

Im still impressed with Morning Joe's shanagans today. Cheeky.

FA called someone who came on board with a list, they discussed and then FA explained he accidently sat in incorrect seat.

I'm getting mellow and trying not to be confrontational when I really just need a moment or walk away.

Recently had an issue with a phone support and it went down hill very fast. I just said, look. We got off on the wrong foot so can we both just start over again. She sounded surprised and yes, we fixed the issue.

Geez. I'd hate to see original Denali

Me too ! I am so mellowed since I retired

Might be a gender thing. My father, since retiring, is far from mellow compared to when he was a worker... in fact, perhaps the opposite. He no longer really enjoys celebrations, he gets sick all the time on vacations (and thus spends the entire time abroad miserable and making all others around him likewise), and if confronted with a conflict as aforementioned, far from meeting in the middle he actually now has so much time to make whoever in the company so uncomfortable that whoever has to deal with his case is lucky to have the will to live another day.

For the first few months of recent retirement, my husband slept a lot. In the past month or two, he's back into exercise and seeing friends.

View from our room, here at the Melbourne airport Parkroyal.

Haven't eaten since breakfast so just had a awesome burger at the bar.

I do the same

Oh goodie. Denali is flying and people watching again.

I find it amusing on flights where people whose boarding pass shows - row 23 as an example, glance at every single row - like the number magically jumps from 5 to 23.
Actually on some aircraft the number magically jumps from 6 to 23! :p

The car I hired yesterday and returned on time today and full of fuel has built in GPS. Creepy.

Also bought chicken for lunch and visited 2 cheap fruit markets....

Oh, my. Krispy Kreme Choc Fudge brownie donut is amazing!

Whenever I walk through EDI airport it reminds me of when I used to do domestic trips to SYD. I guess that's because of the KK stand there, which is one of my first memories of travelling the PER-SYD route as a lot of Perthites would buy boxes of them to take home as there wasn't any KK shops in Perth.

Was just pulling out pages from my travel planning notebook.

Realised that had I gone away in July as I had planned, the itinerary I had put together to be booked had me on that EY flight on 15 July

Great day out in Adelaide today, despite the cold & rain. Brunch at Topairy & afternoon at Hahndorf.

Fly home lunchtime tomorrow. Just visiting an old friend (my sons godmother) she has just become a grandmother.
