I want screen rotation enabled at all times. Is there a way to turn off this stupid power saving feature?
Screen rotation sensing is a continual drain on power so it's one of the general non essential items to be turned off to help prolong usability before recharging.

You may be able to turn off power saving but that's a bit like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

And then get the GST back (around $60) in 3 weeks time. ;)

Just have to remember to have it checked at the landside ABF office and then pack it securely so it doesn't get damaged in the hold, as according to guidelines you wouldn't be able to take a large club like that into the cabin. (sporting goods/ item capable of damaging a person) But I'm sure you will have thought of this.

Not at all. Never wanted to marry a royal. And, WTF has some sexist reference to some inbread aristocratic bum got to do with the issue?

And before we get there, spare us from any references to the ex-wife of the current heir.

Sheesh. Lighten up. :) The 'reference' was me recounting a little story, nothing more.

And I'll spare you the further references, for sure. As they say 'WTF' has that got to do with anything? ;)

But I will update my challenge. What have you lot got? The Red Bandanna?

Surely it isn't a black and white argument? You can be interested in the young royals without declaring yourself a monarchist? You can be a republican without aligning with the red bandana man?

Had red and black ones for years, Bru, but never played Rugby. And, an original copy of Venceremos! :)

Some features of some apps cannot be circumvented similarly. For example, I know that when the power gets quite low (I think < 15%) the camera flash will not function, even though you could probably make out at least one or two flash shots out of a relatively healthy battery at 15%.
I think taking any photos is not possible with low battery. But the feature is still there to take photos when battery is recharged. Disabling the auto rotate feature means I have to re-enable it. That in itself is not an issue until you realise that auto rotate has been disabled.

I'll check to see if I can disable the power saving warning.

But do take this suggestion seriously.

Au contraire. I have an iPhone now (a hand me down iPhone 5), but the power button is really flaky and getting annoying.

My next phone will be back to Android. I prefer the extra control it brings. Plus, I can't bring myself to put up with the iPhone 7 with no 3.5 mm audio jack.

I have Windows which works perfectly fine and I hate screen rotation. Just a PITA.

The Monarchy? Hopefully old Lizzie survives long enough, so we don't have to see this face everyday... The one on the left.

Yes, and yes, for sure. But I'm afraid you are stuck with the red bandanna for as long as he's head of the ARM. Hope he explains his republic better than his wife's recent adventures in Italy ;)

BTW, can anyone here explain the red bandanna thing? Is it just attention seeking?

Your editors must be really good.

Bacchus Rooflyer red bandanna is it not representative of Soviet Communism?

As RooFlyer would say I am totally incompetent and make my life intentionally difficult.

I have an 8:30pm QF SYD-BNE flight followed by a 2:35am EK BNE-SIN flight. I am travelling with wife and daughter and want to try and minimise the disruption carrying luggage during the transit. I am going to try and do an online claim for golf club, golf bag and golf travel bag.
