Lots of people use dual screens here. Hubby has a 48" monitor.
Mr FM has 3 x 24 “ :). He once set up my desk with dual monitors without asking. I threw a wobbly and made him take one away, as I had no space left for writing ( you know that stuff you do with a piece of paper and a pen).

Heard an old time saying for the very first time.
Hatch, match and dispatch......which covered births, engagements and deaths. Not sure but probably was used in the 1900 to 1950 era when everyone looked up these announcements in the newspapers.
Seems to be an ABC show as well when I googled it.
i have always said hatch, catch, match and dispatch? Showing my age maybe, but there are 4 sets of announcements births, engagements, marriages and deaths....

It would appear that $50/month plan for 24 months is the best deal for a Samsung Galaxy S7 on a postpaid contract. I am paying $40/month already and don't want to pay anymore. My contract is expiring very shortly and think it is time I went with someone who offers data very cheaply and free calls. Kogan? I think they offer 6GB data and free calls every month for ~$300/year. Aldi? TPG? Amaysim?

Where is the best place to buy a phone that may also have some cashback deal from Amex/Woolworths?

I have an Aldi plan. They use the Telstra network. They have a plan for $25 per 30 days with 3Gb data and unlimited calls. The next plan is $35 per 30 days with 8Gb data and unlimited calls. This plan also has 200 minutes international calls to landlines in Thailand if that is of use to you. ;)

Bring your own phone.

Are phones on a contract plus network unlock fee overall cheaper than phones bought outright but unlocked to a network.

Call will get saved on some server somewhere.
Someone may choose your call at random to do an SQA review and may laugh along with you or just ignore the laughter and get to the important bits they need to review.
Their name?
Lets just say that the name of this person invoked such a laughable response that I then had to explain that the person named is never welcomed to darken our doorstep ever again.

Driving home this arvo when a pram rolled onto the road with a baby strapped in it. Parents were completely oblivious. Fortunately the van in front of me saw, braked, and alerted them with his horn. Could have been far worse....
Gosh. Glad it turned out ok, were they on their phones?

The $50/month is payable over 24 months. No outs. $450 in calls included, no international calls, no special numbers including their own support number and 1GB data which is never enough especially this month with wife and daughter in Thailand and use Line video calls so my mum can see granddaughter.

I can buy a Samsung Galaxy S7 for ~$700 and get GST back when going overseas. Then for $25/month get unlimited calls in Australia and 6GB data/month.

I think they work out the same in cost but you get a whole lot more with no fixed contract. And with Kogan the first month is only $4.90 to first time customers.

Its bad enough people are pigs in the office kitchen but I just walked into the boardroom and said, "Really!".

Cue the email that launched 3 people returning back to the boardroom to clean up the mess and two apologies.

My thing is, clean it for the next meeting. The fact I walk in there every hour to get rid of my garmin Red Line of Laziness is an added bonus of catching them being messy.

And Ive officially reached middle aged status! One of my millennials replied with, "Do you know what WTF stands for?", and I think he was serious.

Optus $40 sim only online offer isn't bad which I recently switched to. Unlimited calls and SMS/MMS, 15 gigs data a month, 300 minutes international calls (Including Thailand and Greece), on a 12 month plan.

You can get a 32GB iPhone 6 for $40 per month.

Or a Galaxy A5 which is arguably a better device than an s5 from $40 per month (3Gb, ulimited Oz and $50 o/s).

Of course, with Virgin Mobile if the current device is working fine, there is the $24 ($30-20%) sim only 12 month plan with 3GB & $50 o/s and the $32 ($40-20%) SIM only 12 month plan with 12GB & $200 o/s.

iPhone = Apple! Don't have any Apple products.

The Samsung S5 is working fine but has more cracks than an Indian cricket pitch. Still not sure if screen protector is cracked or actual screen is cracked. No time to check in Thailand 2 weeks ago. Will try to check again next month.

I want to give this phone to mum & dad so we can video call everyday when we are in Brisbane and use Line video call when we are overseas. This will make my parents extremely happy.

So I need new phone. Samsung Galaxy S7 (Edge) is preferred but don't want to spend that much every month.

More real estate agent BS. Received an email reminder and 2 text messages asking me to confirm appt today and to which I replied. They still didn’t show and on calling them they said they didn’t get reply. Sent them evidence. Not impressed esp as their ‘hold’ message says how much they value clients.

It is being a technical week for us. Ms FM has dragged us kicking and screaming into the Netflix/Foxtel Now era and we have just put a deposit down on Solar Panels. 40 of them I think. We use mainly gas for heating, but electricity for the floors and sundry other things. Will be interesting to see how it goes.

My husband, who worked in the electrical industry for almost 40yrs, says solar panels are an absolute must for next house.
