When we had a work project, I had about 17 people from europe and the US come down, I cancelled a weekend beach activity because the weather was blown out. Told them that the weather was going to suck so changed plans to a koala park ect.

One of the french guys went surfing at Bondi and had to be saved.

I have been summoned to my mother in laws home after work, to look at her new refrigerator.

She should become a F&P spoke person, shes that excited about it (and relieved the brand new, faulty one is gone).

Tsunami warning for west coast of North and South America tonight following a 7.9 magnitude earthquake off Alaska. Stay safe and move to higher ground just in case.

Remain calm...

It's like chronic unemployed owning Porsches and able to keep up with running costs. No one ever asks.

We've had our F&P fridge for about 17 years and it's still going. I keep looking at new ones but until it gives up the ghost I guess I will have to wait. The glass shelves have been one of the good things as they haven't warped or cracked (though the plastic crisper bins did crack). I have been pretty happy with the brand.

Her old one was F&P, so she's thrilled.

Also her first upside down fridge and it fits a whole watermelon with room to spare (as she showed me).

She's removed the plastic and when a Greek removes the plastic, you can know it's forever with love.
Mine is an upside down fridge and it's been great. Want to go for a three door number next time though.

Fair enuf but we can’t know everyone else’s financial and family affairs.

If you were to attend a family thing with us, you will see a couple of state rail workers, couple of posties, sparky, school teacher ect. All very wealthy but you wouldn't know it.

Some, the only indulgence is a particular car or a new average family car every 4yrs.

JohnK might see an out of work, former train guard or post sorter, but appearances are deceiving.

We see 21 year olds who have never worked with parents who also don't work running around in a Porsche or WRX or.... you can sort of put 2 and 2 together.... and yes we don't know everyones financial and family affairs.

Just saying.

Maybe they were smart enough to buy land parcels 40yrs ago and now benefiting from it. Or they won powerball.

Good luck to them, they're not asking you to pay their bills.

It is not always possible to figure out some other persons wealth. When I was an accountant my wealthiest would drive a 5 year old car and dress in ordinary clothes without any luxury trimmings.
