We don't do V day. Even now we say I love you about a dozen times per day and the only time he brought me flowers, they were chrysanthemums and I wouldn't let them into the house.

Chrysanthemums are Italian funeral flowers, they were never allowed in the house.

just once? When we closed in on being married for 30 years, I said to Mr FM we needed to start celebrating our anniversary. I had to go and find the wedding certificate to work out the exact date....

mind you we can’t even agree on where we met. He claims it was when he was providing software support for a customer in Sydney where I worked. I don’t remember that, so as far as I am concerned we met when I moved to Melbourne....(However we were living together 4 weeks after we met in Melbourne).

I guess you're only allowed to forget your wedding anniversary once and being it was our first anniversary... not something I'll allowed to forget again.

In my defense, we eloped on very small island with no TV, wifi, phones etc... They didn't exist back then! It was a Friday at 1pm.

At least you're in a decent lounge. Quite enjoyed our 2am+ departure from LAX the other day - if it wasn't the QF F lounge, maybe not so much.
