Pretty sure that’s what we had at Tokyo Station Hotel last time. (This time it’s an ordinary room). Had a nifty set of pods with one for choc/coffee and one for hot milk.

Yeah they're a bit of a pain with the two pods. The Nesquik is better as it's all in one pod (therefore better value) .

Very excited this morning to discover I'm an auntie .

Just finished watching The Vietnam War on SBS Demand. It's excellent. BUT... it seems they've cut the hell out of it for broadcast purposes.

They ran 10 episodes, all about 55 minutes long, so roughly under 10 hours in total.
According to Wiki the original length was more tha 17 hours.

This displeases me immensely.

Brisbane today is cold and wet; I am so not used to wet and cold, more so the cold bit; I had to go and put on something warm. o_O

Adelaide is hot and sunny. Quite lovely. Except very hot by Thursday. And a fire in Clare.

And several places in SE QLD have experienced record lows for a February day.

Our neighbor has zealously guarded our attempts to trim the gum tree in his yard that was planted after the house was built and on our boundary. Drops bark, then leaves and pods from November through April. On our side as the gully winds are in our direction. Said it was protected by Council laws.

Well, it was an awful week of carp dropping a few weeks ago and we ‘had words’. So he got an arborist in presumably to back up his story. Well, not only is it not protected but it is one of those types known to drop branches randomly. And those branches are over our house not his.

He came in tonight and said significant pruning was to be done ASAP with a view to removal in 12 months. He paled considerably when we took him into our back yard to show him the boughs directly over our house. We’d told him ages ago so liability rests with him.

I wish our neighbours would complain about the pine tree that overshadows their yard. The decking roof has a tinge of green from the leaf litter.

The pine will be going when we rebuild.

Spent the morning looking at safaris and flight routes to SA for next year, formulating a plan.

Then he says he's back to the idea of Iceland and diving Silfra tectonic plates. On the plus side, lots of options to get there...

You know youve reached a certain age when this is left on the couch for regular use.

Feel free to pass the research on! I have been procrastinating over this for a couple of weeks now.

MrP as a former SA cricketer last night commented it was a bit sad that SA has lost it’s red influence in their uniforms.

Interesting weekend in Sydney. Cold and wet, hot and wet, cold, hot, wet and somewhere in between.
