Nothing like discovering the building you work in is structurally compromised and covered in flammable cladding....

This is why I dont let anyone ignore our fire evacs. We have quite a few and as annoying as they are, I say to people "This building was built to the lowest tender, we get out every time".

Thankfully we're not too high so its a pretty fast exit if we have to hussle.

So the coffee beans that are recovered from some squirrels (whatever the animal is) feces... if the beans come from a non organic farm but the animal is organic, what are the beans?

And would you drink the coffee?

After I had Master FM, Mr FM stayed at home as well and we shared all the kid stuff - playgroup, pre school and later reading at school etc. he mainly did canteen as I didn’t like it. He seemed to particularly like the Christmas dinner out with all the canteen Mums :).
That would have been good for you to have help from husband.

Help? Seriously?

How about hes an equal partner in their marriage and the household responsibilities and hes doing his share of the household/children load?

Its not ******* "help"! It like guys who get a pat on the back for "looking after the kids", while the wife is doing laundry or hiding in Target. We do that, you know. Hide. Target, Spotlight, Gloria Jeans...

i have to say I was incredibly lucky :). We split the work between us. I was running the business, so he took on more of the things like cooking and shopping. We also split the kids stuff between us, so we shared that pretty 50/50. I tended to do more of the night shift and he took more of the day things. Master FM once said Mum is for cuddles but Dad is for fun.

As far as housework went, I did the washing, he did the ironing. We very early on got a gardener and a cleaner as we both hated that.

We had a very non conventional setup I suppose but it worked for us. In the early days Mr FM didn’t work at all, bu once the kids were at school he did some IT consultancy but only stuff he could do at home and when he wanted to. He has always been very leading edge in graphics, so he has been able to get fun work with engineering/software companies who had water or roads software but wanted help with the graphics.

Although I had an office and staff, I predominantly worked from home as well, because I wanted to be there for the kids,

I think the old model of one person working while the other looked after the house and family is pretty dead, so the two partners do need a more equitable split.

I didn't think that first comment was going to end well.

Is that right? You must know everything.

Wife is at home full-time looking after baby.

Husband goes to work and does the shopping and organises the flights/hotels for holidays, brings home dinner some nights, helps with cooking 2-3 times a week, takes care of doctors/medicines that are needed, pays the rent, pays all the bills, goes out for a walk with family, spends a few hours with baby and when there's a few hours to spare goes out for a relaxing game of golf.

You think the husband should also share the baby duties? LOL! I know wife has a difficult job but she loves doing it and I do what I do best. Go to work and try to save for our future.

Don't think you know anything about anyone from a few posts in the off topic thread.

A FEW posts? :eek::rolleyes::confused:

Good grief, you post your life day by day sometimes hour by hour here and in other threads. I reckon it's a pretty open book.

I swing between amazement and sorrow reading the posts, but in both iterations there is considerable entertainment value .. perhaps that's why he writes.. to feed the chooks as Jo would say….

You don't have to read any of it. Quite easy to ignore.

I think you're very close. Entertain by posting snippets of a miserable life. That's why this is the off topic thread.

But it's not all misery is it? Surviving a heart attack at 39, nearly dying from chicken pox at 46, getting married after 50 and having a daughter at 52. I think I'm here for a reason.

Oh and don't forget the 3 under par rounds. One by eagling the 17th and another with 2 eagles in the round. Special.
