Of course, one could also say, "Opinions are like belly buttons, everyone has one!".

Brisbane, we have had a massive storm. 100,000 homes without power. Trees down winds + 100 Kph. I had just finished cooking a family Sunday roast when the power went out. It was pretty hairy with the wind howling like a cyclone. More tonight expected.
Wow, sounds bad. Hope it doesn’t cause too much damage. Have a brother and sister in Brissie.

Clearly I am invisible today. Car turning across in front of me waits for ages to turn right while I’m waiting at red traffic light. Plenty of time to turn. As my light turns green, she turns. Brake to avoid.
Then just after at the GP clinic. We have to queue to see receptionist. One person being served, then a mum with child and I stand behind her in an orderly fashion. Woman comes up to mum with child and asks if she’s in the queue (nope she’s there coz she likes to stand at Drs receptionist to pass time). She says yes then this women proceeds to stand next to her. Mum served then ‘who’s next’. Damn woman proceeds to walk forward. Seriously? Didn’t get away with it.

Queue jumpers. Lovely. Reminds me of Greece. No such thing as queues. It used to be free for all. Not for the faint hearted.

Asia shopping and Delta domestic flights have made me better prepared for queue jumpers and telling them the line starts back there.

I remember picking up VIP Rolling Stones tickets (no mail outs), there was about 100 of us lining up and just as the window opened, these 2 women bypassed everyone and walked up to the window and I was the only one to speak up and say the line was back there.

Inventive. Guy in baseball uniform comes in with sprained? ankle using 2 baseball bats as walking sticks.

Power now back on after the storm last night. Lost power just after 6pm

Now to check what food to chuck out

Food should have been OK, if you didnt open/shut fridge constantly. Maybe throw out the milk but thats about it.

Actually I think you are right. Food looks OK and milk seems alright.

When I broke my ankle on the 3rd hole at golf I used 2 clubs as walking sticks to finish game. One of the others in the group pushed my buggy around which was kind of them.

I thought ankle was only sprained.
