My husband doesnt have many rules but one is no food or drink when in bed......

 Piccolo latte, tea and toast in bed around 5:30am while we read the news. I can’t imagine any other way to start the day :D

When I was bedridden for 6 weeks after the accident, I had breakfast in bed. However, I made the monumental journey to the family room twice a day for lunch & dinner. The 4 walls can close in very quickly.

Yeah, we had a gum in our front yard that died. Paid $$$$ to have it removed properly (ie, not the bro's that knock on your door on the weekend, asking if you want any tree work done for $40) and when they brought down the trunk in bits, it still shook the house.

I always tell my US friends to not camp/park under gums.

Which is a very clever tactic non?
Very clever. I once ruined a nice pair of pleated pants by putting a hole through them with the iron. Never again.

Washing machines are a little easier. Put everything inside and press the button.

.... Put everything inside and press the button.

Youre killing me, John. ;)

I bet you put the paper towel roll on the holder thingy the wrong way as well.

What holder thingy? The paper towel roll is on the window sill in an upright pisition. Grab it, take a paper towel and put the roll back.

Life needs to be simple.

We have approx 1 acre of turpentine
One dead one was on a lean. Took nearly 6 months to get council approval to cut it down as they needed proof that it was not used by koalas or birds. Why would any use a dead one when there are other better trees with shade just adjacent

Gum tree fell on my future DIL car in her work car park on her second day at that place. Next door neighbours tree. He paid around $6000 in repairs. He'd been warned.

Sadly one of my son's teachers was killed when as a passenger a tree bough fell on their car. And a young kid driving home from work a couple of years ago died just up the road from me (and Buzz) when gum tree fell on her car. Council had been warned.

My tooth (or space) is aching. More than it did the day after it was done. Why is it so?

Very sad.

Have you taken your pain relief? Different type of ache, as in surgery/gum been tortured/stitches ache and not infected tooth ache?

For me, its Green, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Red and last, always last the Brown/choc.

I love the Almond M&Ms - but you can only get them in the US - so we always have a large bag in the car when driving around the states.
I eat the blue first, Ron gets all the brown ones ;)

Are you doing mouth wash/rinse with tepid salty water ?? Keep it clean so it doesn't get infected and the "hole" closes up.

I'm on the watch out for infection but I think this is more of the "someone stood on your face and ripped a tooth out from your gum" kind of feeling. That feeling that makes you want to keep clamping on it. I might have to resort to the codeine after all!

Yep and this is surprisingly effective and almost calming?. Couldn't start until 24 hours after (last night) and have done it four times since then. I have stitches and originally they would stick into my cheek but they've settled now.
